Second only to eyeshadow palettes, I’m obsessed with a good lipstick! And in recent years I’ve become more and more obsessed with bright red and pink lips! And I thought it was about time I shared with you my current obsessions! I tried to make it to 10, but then it felt like I’d be stretching a little, so I thought I’d go with what I found super easy to gather together – 8! So these are 8 of my most worn, most loved and favourite lipsticks in my collection.. enjoy!
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in Wild Thoughts & Cherries in the Snow
I’m pairing these together, because even though they’re completely different in terms of the shades, it’s the formula that means I love them! The Revlon matte lipstick formula is really nice! They’re creamy, super pigmented, long lasting and really comfortable! My favourite two shades in the range are 004 Wild Thoughts (a beautiful soft pink nude lipstick) and Cherries in the Snow (the most stunning vibrant pink – also a Project 10 Pan product). OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Charmed
I had this lipstick both in the old round Ofra packaging, and in the new(ish as they’ve been out a few years now) square packaging and it’s just such a classic every day ‘your lips but better’ nude shade. This formula is so comfortable and easy to wear! It’s the only colour I’ve ever had in it, but as this is my second tube (oh yeah!) I think that tells you all you need!

L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick in I Speak and I Am Worth It
Before the Revlon lipsticks came along these were my go to colourful lipsticks! And, as someone who’d never really worn bright lipsticks before, these were such a curveball for me, but it’s the most stunning hot hot pink and classic red in my collection! And, as you can see, I’ve deffo made a dent in the amount of product in there!

MAC Lipsticks in Faux and Velvet Teddy
I’ve had my MAC lipsticks for a slightly concerning time. They’re still looking and smelling ok, so I think I can keep using it without concern, but Velvet Teddy in particular is on my Project 10 pan (and I think I’ll replace it with Faux when it’s finished). They’re such classic and easy to wear nude lipsticks and the packaging and the whole ‘MAC lipsticks of the whole thing is just a feeling I don’t think any lipstick could ever replicate. I just love them!

Bourjois Rouge Fabuleux in Sleeping Beauty
I used to be OBSESSED with these lipsticks! And this is probably the least reached for in this eight, but the Bourjois formula is such a beautiful one I couldn’t not include it! Annoyingly Bourjois is basically impossible to get in the UK now (as it’s no longer in Boots or Superdrug), but it used to be one of my favourite drugstore brands! I have a few lipsticks in this range, but this is 100% the most reached for- another you lips but better colour.

MAC lipsticks are some of my go-to’s so I loved seeing what your most used shades were! I’ve never actually worn nude lipsticks before (I usually go for a darker red/burgundy) but I’d love to try one out – I’ll have to look into their range of nude shades x

Velvet Teddy really doesn’t suit me for some reason. It sucks because the shade is gorgeous. It just makes me look super washed out.
Some of my favourite lipsticks are Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk and NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes. I have a worrying amount of lipsticks, so reading this post was not helpful for my lipstick addiction lol

Bourjois lipsticks look so good but for some reason I never tried them. You’re right, they’re difficult to find. Also, I need to check Faux from MAC. Never thought about that one. I have Velvet Teddy and it’s in my top 5 from MAC.

Velvet Teddy is my fav! It’s my fav nude lipstick and pretty much goes with every look I did. MAC lipsticks are definitely one of my go-to’s xx

Both the MAC lipsticks are my own personal favorites too! I also liked Ofra but haven’t used it in years… might give it a go again (but first purchase a new one because it’s definitely expired lol).
