It is no secret that I love Bourjois lipsticks. They really are some of the best out there! And so, when the brand comes out with a new range of lipsticks, I get excited! The newest launch of lip items is their Rouge Fabuleux Lipsticks. There are 12 lipsticks in the range, of which I have 9, and they’re just £8.99 a pop.
With a beautiful satin finish, these are sold as having colour without the compromise. And, to give a little sneak peak, kinda love them!
There are a lot of nude shades in this range that are very similar! From left to right the shades are: 01 Abracadabeige, 02 A L’Eau de Rose, 03 Bohemian Rhapsody, 04 Jolie Mauve, 06 Sleepink (yes, that’s not a typo) Beauty, 10 Scarlet it be, 12 Beauty and the Red, 13 Cranberry Tales, 15 Plum Plum Pidou.
These lipsticks are highly pigmented, easy to apply and come in some beautiful colours! The glossy satin formula is super comfortable and not at all drying, and the tear shape of the lipstick is super easy to apply (so you don’t really even need a lip liner). Overall the application and colour payoff of these lipsticks are so so impressive. However, they’re not remotely kiss proof (which is a shame), like seriously, you end up getting lipstick everywhere. This also means they’re not always the longest lasting. However, with how easy they are to reapply, I don’t mind this too much! It’s just a shame their other lipsticks last longer than these…
Due to the lack of lasting power, I feel like these work really nicely for the nude shades, but it can be quite difficult with the bolder shades!
Have you tried these? If so, what did you think?
