Stage 2 of the top lipsticks! And it doesn’t get better than a nude lipstick. The whole your lips but better. The super easy to wear, you don’t have to think about it lipstick. Some of these you’ll have heard me raving about for years, and some of them I might have forgotten to give some love, but either way these are my top picks!
OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick – Charmed £20
I used to have this lipstick in the old OFRA lipstick packaging- you know when the tubes were round. And then I used the whole thing up – like a whole lipstick? Who’d have thunk it! So, when OFRA announced they’d repackaged everything I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try it again, and the formula and colour were as gorgeous as anything. And it’s remained one of my favs ever since.
Max Factor Honey Lacquer in Chocolate Nectar £9.99
I feel like I haven’t raved about this for a while, but honestly think it’s just because I’ve had a mini break. Because it’s no secret how much I LOVE this lip lacquer! It’s some mix between a liquid lipstick and a lipgloss, the colour is stunning and the formula is one of the comfiest out there. I actually think this is about to run out and it’ll be time to get another one…. mental really!
Mac Lipstick in Velvet Teddy £17.50
And they’re back. The Mac lipsticks are at it again. And this time it’s the cult classic that took the world by storm a while back; Velvet Teddy. I mean what can I say about this lipstick that hasn’t already been said? So I’ll just leave it there. Ok? Ok. Good
Lipstick Queen Frog Princess £22
So this felt like a cheat…. but I also couldn’t care less. This is one of those balm textured lipsticks that looks green in the tube but comes out as a lip shade lipstick on the lips. So I guess, strictly speaking it’s a little more of a pink than a nude, but on the lips it does seriously look like a your lips but better. And the best thing of all? It has the texture of a lip balm, so it’s so unbelievable comfortable!
Maybelline Color Sensational Made For All 373 Mauve For Me £7.99
And here’s the new kid on the block. It’s a relatively dark nude in comparison to everything else here, and one of the heavier formulas (you know, where you can kinda feel it on the lips a little), but it’s beautiful. Full review is literally a few blog posts back if you want to read the full thing!
I’ve actually managed to write this weeks lipstick in order to the swatches above (well done me, gold star!). I like how I’ve managed to tick off basically every undertone of nude out there…
