So I’m such a fan of an advent calendar… it allows you to try so many new products that you would otherwise not have afforded all in one month! It feels like you go shopping every morning of the month and I’m beyond excited to try everything out over January!
Now these posts I share with you what I got and the value of what it is from my Look Fantastic and Cult Beauty advent calendars

Look Fantasic
Day 7 – REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic
Always loved trying this from REN and who doesn’t love a good tonic? Plus it smells delightful!
Value: £5.40
Day 8 – Eve Lom Cleanser
This is one of those things I’ve had in the past, but I really wasn’t into solid cleansers so I didn’t appreciate it. But now I’m a little older & wiser, I’m here with it again and beyond excited to try it!
Value: £18
Day 9 – Diego Dalla Palma Eye Pencil
I’ve never been one to love a pencil eyeliner, but it doesn’t mean I wont give it a go and give it it’s fair chance…
Value: £15

Day 10 – Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Body Scrub
This texture is so interesting…. it feels like it’s basically wet sugar! And I’m so beyond excited to try this out…!
Value: £7.50
Day 11 – Tan-Luxe Super Glow Hyaluronic Self-Tan Serum
I’m not really one to self tan, but either way this is kinda cool and I’m interested to see how it works!

Day 12 – Illamasqua Loaded Lip Polish in Vogue
Ok this is exciting, I seriously can’t wait to try this! The colour is gorgeous and the packaging is super duper cute! And now I know they’re not that expensive…. if I like it!

I’m not one of those people who uses sleep sprays, but if you do this one looks great! Also, for £40 that’s insane?

Day 9 – Dr Barbara Sturm Night Serum
I mean I feel like this is an insane amount of money for a night serum, but I’ve heard lots of good things about it, so can’t wait to give it a go!

Day 10 – Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb & Rose Bath & Shower Gel
So I actually got this in the Look Fantastic advent calendar, but I’m not going to complain because who doesn’t love a shower gel!

I am a sucker for fancy packaging and this certainly has that! I’m such a fan of face masks and I can’t wait to try this…

Once again the Cult Beauty advent calendar trumps the Look Fantastic on at £67.55 to £258.60. But either way, mega exciting and I can’t wait to share with you all my thoughts on everything come January!
Do you have advent calendars? What did you get?
Katie x
I’ve been reading up on other people’s advent calendars as I was so in two minds about which one I wanted to get. I got the ASOS one and although it’s got amazing brands I’m a bit annoyed it’s basically all skincare, not even body care or makeup. I would have thought the Cult beauty would have more makeup, but it’s nice to see the Look Fantastic one does! xx

Yeah the Cult Beauty one has so little makeup in it! They all often do! x
I had no idea there were Advent calendars out there that weren’t just chocolates until I started seeing these kinds of posts. It’s so interesting! And much more useful, thank you for sharing.
Yeah, I love a good makeup advent calendar, but you can get all sorts of things from alcohol to cheese!
These all look so great! Sakura Bath scrub is amazing and that REN tonic looks amazing as well. I’m a little jealous haha.
I can’t wait to start trying everything out in January for sure!
Good to try new things haha. Seem you have good stuff as well.
Yeah can’t wait to try it all! x
Followed you here and on twitter ! Love the calendar!
Aww thanks! x
See you around too!
So many goodies! I love the sound of the Ready Steady Glow tonic, it’s hard to find a tonic that smells good 🙂

Agreed! Can’t wait to try everything out! x
I’ve yet to try an advent calendar, but I think I’d like to try one! I love skincare so I think this would be a great investment! Thanks for sharing such a neat guide! x
Glossybox, Cult Beauty and Look Fantastic tend to be the best ones out there, but they also sell out so fast!
You can’t beat a good makeup calendar, these are great items you had in your advent calendars! x

I love beauty advent calendars although I decided against getting one this year. You’ve got some great products this week. You’ve got a good mix of make up and skincare.
I didn’t get them last year, but really missed them… so here we are! haha x
Great products! You got a good mix of skincare and makeup!
I know! Can’t wait to try everything out! x
