So we all know I’ve recently become a massive NARS addict and so, after seeing this on Emma’s Rectangle a few months back, I had to pick up one of their Air Matte Lip Colours!
Here’s what it says on their site:
Daringly diffused. Seductively soft. A matte that moves with you. Cushiony, air-kissed pigments float featherweight color onto lips, while Color Diffusion Complex creates a soft-focus finish with a creamy feel. Build and blend to perfection with a custom-designed applicator for a look that’s covetable and comfortable. The next generation in matte lip color, styled to air-fection. Limited edition.
Price & Packaging
At £23, these are on the pricier side of lipstick options, but I feel like it’s about right for high end lipsticks. The packaging is such a beautiful and unique shape! You have a relatively small doe foot applicator with an angled edge which is actually quite easy to use. And what I do really like is that the colour of the packaging matches the colour of the shade! Which also kinda makes me want to collect all of them!
There are only 10 shades in the range, and they pretty much range from pink nudes to reds… so it’s a little limited, but they are all gorgeous wearable shades. The colour I have is Pin Up which is one of the deeper colours, but a slightly more muted red.
I’m obsessed with this formula! As it has a sort of moussey finish, it means it’s completely weightless on the lips! And, with a beautiful colour payoff, you only really need one layer and then you’re good to go! It’s then one of those lipsticks you can keep on all day- it has a little bit of transfer, but all in all it lasts a pretty long time and then gradually fades (so you don’t get that whole dry crusty lips look!).
So I mean, all in all, pretty obsessed!
It’s no secret that NARS is one of my favourite high end makeup brands, and this is no exception! It’s the most gorgeous red lip option and I really want to try more from the range! It’s easy to apply, even easier to wear and the most stunning colour ever!
Have you tried these lipsticks? If so, what did you think?
