Is This THE Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Dupe?

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Dupe

So I have recently become obsessed with Hot Cloth Cleansers like some kind of nutter. I use them every evening to remove makeup and it’s actually really forced me to clean my face properly every single day without fail.

And you think Hot Cloth Cleanser and one product comes to mind right? Well…. I’ve actually tried a cheaper version, so I’ll let you know my thoughts on them both. Because, let’s face it, if we can spend half the price, why wouldn’t we?

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Dupe

Liz Earl Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser – 100ml £15.50

The first thing to say is I’m obsessed with the packaging! It’s gorgeous. That minty green colour is right up my street and it certainly feels like the expensive product. Also.. £15.50 is less than I thought this was.

The product comes with 100ml of product and no cloths, though you can buy sets with them in.

This feels really lovely on the skin, it’s melts makeup off your face effortlessly, leaves you face feeling clean but not tight or dry. The pump pumps out the exact amount you really need for one face. The only downside of this, is I think it’s natural fragrance from the ingredients that are in there, but it is scented. So if you’re particular sensitive to scents on your face it’s worth noting.

But overall, freaking love it!

Your Good Skin Nourishing Hot Cloth Cleanser Review

Your Good Skin Nourishing Hot Cloth Cleanser – 125ml £10

So this bottle is actually bigger and it comes with 2 clothes… and it’s cheaper. On first look, you can see and feel it’s cheaper. The packaging is a squeezy tube, the gold and off black branding doesn’t quite match Liz Earls… but then I guess you get what you pay for. And also, considering my products live in a cupboard anyway, who cares what it looks like?

So I used this side by side with the Liz Earl, taking one side of my makeup off and the other side off with this and to be honest there was very little difference. The Liz Earl removed the makeup slightly quicker and with slightly less rubbing, but nothing to shout home about and I probably only noticed because I was literally doing one after the other.

Your skin doesn’t feel quite as hydrated directly after use, but just as clean… and I guess that’s what moisturiser is for. But, the thing I actually really love about this, it’s fragrance free…!

So are they a direct dupe? Maybe not… there are slight differences in the product in their scents and ingredients. But do they do basically the same job? Yes.

Now I’m sure I’ll keep repurchasing both because I like feeling boujie. HOWEVER, for the daily I’m totally going to keep buying the Your Good Skin Better! You can pick both up from Boots in the UK

Have you tried either of these?
