New | Rimmel Stay Satin Lipsticks

Rimmel Lip Satin

Rimmel launched their Stay Satin liquid lipsticks a little while back and I just needed to try them out! I love the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks and The One Lipsticks and so I had high hopes for these! And at Β£5.99 they’re reasonably priced!

With 14 colours in total, this cover most of the bases you will ever need… however I do feel the range is lacking that classic, bright, true red. The three colours I have are 130 Yuppie (the bright coral nude pink colour), 200 Sike (the classic nude) and 430 For Sure (the purple).

These lipsticks have a doe foot applicator that makes application standard and easy. The lipsticks are pigmented and easy to apply and they have a beautiful sweet scent. However, they do take quite a while to dry down, and even once dry they’re still fairly tacky and very transferable. However, the shades are fairly long lasting and I found aren’t too drying.

Overall, these are pretty good lipsticks. I wouldn’t say they’re the best out there, and they’re definitely not my favourite. But I will definitely continue to use them and I literally LOVE that purple shade!

Have you tried these yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

  1. I’ve been intrigued by these and haven’t heard much about them apart from your post. I’m a fan of Rimmel lipsticks too πŸ™‚ I don’t like matte so these sound like something I think I’d like. I don’t need any new lippies right now but if I see a good deal on or spot a unique colour I might try them out! x
