Any of those who know me know I love my Maybelline Brow Satin pencil, it’s been a firm favourite of mine for as long as I can remember, and it’s not often I find something I love just as much. However, NYX have just launched their Precision Brow Pencil. Available in 8 shades for £8 a pop, they’re super affordable and there’s a colour out there for anyone – in fact, I could actually get away with using two different shades depending on whether my hair is lighter (as it is in the Summer) or darker (as it is in the Summer).
The brow pencil is dual ended, with a spoolie one end (which is a really good shape and size… as sad as that sounds), and a mechanical brow pencil the other. The packaging is sleek, elegant and really luxurious feeling, and all in all, I love the look and feel of the product.
The brow pencil is one of those flat ended pencils, which aren’t necessarily my favourite (I would have preferred it to come to a precise point). However, putting that aside, these are actually really lovely brow pencils. They glide on easily, not depositing product too heavily, and create a rather precise line (as the name of the product would suggest). Overall, they make your brows look amazing for next to no effort.
However, the product is a little on the waxy side – which isn’t a huge issue. It makes it easy to clean up as you’re applying, but you do have to set the brow product with a brow gel, or it fades throughout the day.
Overall, a great product! I love using it, and find it super easy to use. Just pair with a good brow gel and you’re all set to go.
Have you tried this? If so, what are your thoughts?
