April Favourites & Project 10 Pan Update

What a month April was! After preaching in one of my recent posts about working with a full time job how ok it was to take breaks, I needed to take a week off to focus on my day job and get our new season on sale! But now that’s all out the way, I’m back here on my blog talking about all things makeup! And it feels like the perfect time to reflect over the month that has just been! A few favourites, a blog update and a project 10 pan roundup! Hope you enjoy!

NARS Air Matte Lip Colour in Pin Up

Never have I ever worn a lipstick that is so light and feels like you’re not wearing one at all! And this colour is just such a pretty bright, but with a nude undertone and so really wearable, colour! There’s a full review coming on my blog soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that! But spoiler, I love it!

Ameliorate Restorative Facial Mask

(Gifted) Apply a layer on your skin, rub it in, leave it on over night and wash your face well in the morning this is the PERFECT over night face mask to give you that little pep in your step! The texture is just so satisfying and it’s both super moisturising without being too heavy.

Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Fragrance

(Gifted) I’d just finished my Jimmy Choo Flash, and while I liked it, I wasn’t jumping at the gun to get a replacement. However, when Jimmy Choo launched their latest fragrance I was sold from the get go! With pop notes of Peach, Mandarin Orange, heart notes of Red Spider Lily, Jasmine Sambac and Base notes of Vanilla, Benzoin… it’s basically a fragrance made just for me! I’m a little obsessed!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum

This is not the first time I’ve spoken about this, and in fact it’s been in favourites before in the past.. but I’ve been trying other hair serums over the last month or so, and so this is only just back in my life after a little break and I suddenly remembered why I love it so much! It just makes my hair so silky and soft! And while it’s not completely frizz free, it’s definitely far more manageable and holds styles better!

Clinique All About Eyes Rich

I’ve always been a cheap eye cream girl. As someone who’s under eyes behave themselves, it’s never been an area of concern. However…. I’m now 25 and it feels like I should be looking after my under eyes just that bit more! And this clinique eye cream has now taught me why you spend more on eye cream! It’s thick, hydrating and yet not heavy or greasy in the slightest! You only need the teeniest amount and it does the job perfectly!

Blogging Update

We all know I took a bit of a break in April to focus on my day job and to make sure I didn’t completely crumble with the workload! But I still saw some amazing results throughout the month, and I’m more than looking forward to what May holds for me!

Project 10 Pan

I finished 4… yes 4 products this month! So I’m saying goodbye to my NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer, L’Oreal Pomade Concealer, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and Mac Lipstick in Faux. And saying hello to the e.l.f Mineral Infused Face Primer, the Rimmel Exaggerate Lipliner in East End Snob, the e.l.f 16hr Camp Concealer and the Revlon Photo Ready Candid Setting Powder. And then look at that progress on my NARS Blush (uh yes, that’s a blush pan pan) and my Smashbox Contour Kit!

So total empties of the project now stand at 6! Can’t wait to share with your the full update at 6 months and then 12 months!

What did you use and love over the month of April?

  1. You’ve inspired me to want to try the hair serum, which version is your favourite if you’ve tried ones for different hair types? Go you for finally hitting pan on Orgasm and finishing Velvet Teddy, so satisfying finishing a lipstick isn’t it? xx
