Empties June

Another month over, and so another monthly empties, and another month of me being slightly overwhelmed by the sheer number of products I’ve finished up over the month! However, as per usual, I’m sharing with you my thoughts and feelings on everything I’ve finished up over the month of June! … Over half way through the year!

Moroccan Oil Treatment | Hands down my favourite hair oil, this makes my hair look and feel amazing! I’m at a point in my life where I can’t really afford to buy this stuff full size, but when I can… I’m so totally all over that!

Dove Go Fresh Deodorant | I mean.. it’s a deodorant. It smelt nice and it worked… what more do you want me to say?

Galinee Hand Cream | This was a really nice hand cream, it was a really lovely gel-cream texture that Galinee is so famous for and I would highly recommend this. However, I do still think I prefer my Body Shop hand creams

Nip + Fab Glycolic Scrub Fix | I honestly think this is my favourite face scrub ever! It’s nice and gritty without being too harsh, it leaves my skin feeling super super soft and clean and my skin looks really good for using it!

Glam Glow Supermud Face Mask | Unfortunately this was a relatively small sample and so I only got one and a half uses out of this. However, from the little I used, I quite liked it. It felt really nice on the skin and my face felt super clean after!

Empties June 1

Maria Nila True Soft Shampoo and Conditioner | I lovely shampoo and conditioner, I really liked them. However, for the price point, I do think I would rather use the Pureology Shampoo and Conditioners

L’Oreal Lip Scrub | The easiest and fuss free lip scrub ever, and it works! I mean it doesn’t taste as nice as those lip scrubs like LUSH, but the fuss free element of it just makes me want to keep using it forever!

Body Shop Raspberry Shower Gel | Would it be an empties of mine without a million Body Shop products or a shower gel? Probably not. And that’s because I’m BS obsessed and their shower gels are just my favourite!

Batiste Heat and Shine Spray | Hands down my favourite heat spray, this is definitely going to be a repurchase! This is the best heat protectant that doesn’t alter the texture of my hair, and so it’s a great ‘invisible’ product, which it what I want from my heat protectant!

Rimmel True Match Concealer | A great medium-coverage concealer, I always repurchase this! Shame about how quickly you seem to work through it!

Body Shop Strawberry Shampoo | One of the few things from the Body Shop I’m not the biggest fan of is their haircare range. Like they’re ok, but they’re nothing special and so I don’t think I will be repurchasing

Soap and Glory Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body Scrub | This is a perfectly fine body scrub that does a good job, but I this Soap and Glory have better scrubs that I would definitely use after this one

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | I feel so sorry for this concealer that the Revolution one has kind of over-shadowed it. However, it’s still a great concealer and I would 100% still repurchase this… and I already have

Empties June 2

Benefit Roller Lash | Literally one my favourite mascaras at all time I was so sad when this finished. It’s a great all round mascara that just works really well with my lashes!

Avant RNA Radial Firmness Anti-Ageing Serum | I feel like I get so many samples for serums and they’re all nice, but I don’t think I’ve been obsessed by any of them..

Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Cream | This is a great super affordable eye cream that I literally love. Will definitely repurchase

Simple Cleansing Wipes | These are my go-to facial wipes. I tend to use them to remove swatches, but they do remove waterproof makeup pretty well and they’re super gentle on the skin

Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion | A great body lotion, but not my favourite formula of all time… I think I prefer the First Aid Beauty one.

Body Shop Aloe Vera Calming Toner | More Body Shop and this one works super well with my super sensitive red face!

Marcelle 8 in 1 Power Serum | More serums, more not really sure what I think about it…

Galinee Face Cream | As I said before, Galinee has a great gel-cream formula that feels great on the skin!

Sure Cool Blue Roll on Deodorant | More deodorant, does a good job, and I’d totally repurchase… if it was on offer…

Codage Creme Gommante Scrubbing Cream | I really don’t like this stuff. It’s so creamy that it feels quite heavy on my skin. A product for me that is such a miss

Trifle Cosmetics Sugar Pear Lib Scrub | Such a great lip scrub and it smells amazing! I would highly recommend, but I would personally use the L’Oreal ones because they’re just a little easier to use

Empties June 3

Shay and Blue Atropa Belladonna | I really love these little sample sizes of fragrances because they’re big enough to actually be useful, but still so small that they are convenient to carry around. Plus this scent is really nice!

REN Day Cream | I have to say there are definitely day creams out there I prefer to this, but essentially there really isn’t anything wrong with it

L’Oreal XFibre Mascara | Another firm favourite mascara, this is a great definition, length and volumising mascara that is in a two step formula. Literally love it so much!

Superdrug Charcoal Face Mask | These are actually great face masks, they’re super cheap and you get a lot of uses out of them. Superdrug have a lot of them in the range and I would definitely look into trying more of them!

Sainsbury’s Grapefruit and Rose Water Scented Candle | Who doesn’t love a scented candle? And these Sainsbury’s ones are actually pretty good! They smell really strong, burn a relatively long time, and they burn fairly cleanly (i.e. I haven’t had any smoke stains anywhere)

What have you finished up over the month of June?

  1. I’ve never tried the Batiste heat and shine spray so I’ll definitely have to give that a whirl. And I’m with you, Benefit Roller Lash has become my go-to mascaras! Thanks for sharing! xo
