I’ve never heard anyone speak of the Stila Colour Balms, and so I knew I would need to try one. I thought I would go with a classic – a nude, with a pink undertone. This shade of lipstick is very much up my street and very much one I would love to use day in day out. The shade I have is Olivia, but it comes in 13 shades ranging from a light colourless balm to a deep berry shade.

The formula is essentially a nourishing lipstick. It is a highly pigmented lipstick with soft, balm-like properties. With gold metal casing, the lipstick gives off a high quality appearance. It is essentially a pigmented lip balm, and so super comfortable and easy to apply and wear and the colours are pretty.
The main downside, for me, is one of their ingredients; Peppermint Oil – which cools and calms the lips. It means the lipstick has a minty smell and a tingling feeling on the lips.

However, for those days when I want a natural look, but still to look composed and presentable, this would be the perfect lip option.
Have you tried this, if so, what are your thoughts?

I HATE peppermint so thanks for that warning! I have one of these in my collection somewhere I’m glad it’s never made its way onto my face! YUCK lol
I feel like it’s a gimic that didn’t need to be there, and so it’s kind of a shame… :/
The worst ::
This seems like it would be right up my alley! I love a natural lip option that I don’t have to do too much with and since I have dry skin (and lips) nourishing is always a plus! Thanks for sharing I will have to check these out! xo
I’d never even heard of them before, just stumbled across them on the M&S website. They have a very strong peppermint scent, but other then that, they’re lovely 😀
I recently tried the Stila Stay all day Liquid Lipsticks and I love them! https://being-chloe.com/2018/01/07/stila-stay-all-day-liquid-lipsticks-review/ I really want to try the balm lipsticks so thankyou for the review ☺️
I have a couple of the minis and really love them 🙂 thanks for the review as well <3
