So, Nip + Fab have launched a new makeup range! I remember seeing it come into work, and all walking around confused – not only because we didn’t know this was happening, but also because we had no idea where we were going to put it. It’s available online via Superdrug, and maybe some stores have it in already (although ours doesn’t).
Price wise the range falls at the higher end of the drugstore; on the same level as Max Factor or L’Oreal.
Makeup Primer 30ml £9.95 – This is one of those primers that leaves your skin feeling super tacky. I found that it didn’t do a lot of pore filling, but it really helped my foundation stay all day!
Makeup Foundation 05 30ml £12.95 – In first impressions I didn’t really know how I felt about it. After further uses, I quite like this foundation. I found it wasn’t my complete favourite, however it’s a nice light-medium coverage foundation that is a really good colour match to my skin.
Concealer 05 8ml £8.95 – The concealer is a bit thick, however it has good coverage and it doesn’t crease or separate. I just find it looks and feels heavy on the skin.
Makeup Travel Palette £9.95 – This is a really lovely palette; the bronzer is beautifully formulated, if not a tad warm, the blusher is pigmented but the perfect colour and the highlighter is a great ‘glow from within’ highlighter. And I love the packaging…
Eyebrow Pencil Ash Brown £6.95 – Eurgh. Now this is something I am never ever going to use again. Like ever. I hated it, seriously hated it. It was thick and waxy and my eyebrows felt disgusting afterwards. Eurgh!
Eyeshadow Palette Sculpted £10.95 – THIS EYESHADOW IS THE BEST THING I HAVE TRIED IN YEARS! Omg I have so much love for this palette. The colours are pigmented, blendable and long lasting. There’s a lot of fall out in the pan itself, but there is next to none transferring onto the face. Love love love love love.
Mascara £9.95 – This is a really nice all round mascara, it provides a nice bit of volume, length and definition. It holds a curl well, and lasts all day without falling down your face. Another product that is going to make it’s way into my collection.
Matte Liquid Lipstick in Marshmallow £7.95 – I simultaneously love and hate this lipstick. The formula is super matte and insanely long lasting. But it settles into dry patches on the lips and isn’t the most comfortable liquid lipstick out there.
