FOTD Natural Everyday Makeup

So I’ve been wearing makeup again recently… yup, give a girl a round of applause! I’ve returned back to the workforce, which means I now live, eat and work all from the same desk, room and computer. So the only way I feel I can really differentiate between work time and personal time is getting dressed and getting ready. So, although I don’t meet anyone, and I’m only really video calling work colleagues, I’ve been putting on makeup and I’ve been loving it!

I’ve been wearing pretty much the same thing everyday. And here it is. Also, here’s my face. It’s not something I’ve done much over here on my blog, but it felt wrong to talk about a FOTD without a face you know… so be nice! ha!

The Base Products

The CYO Long Lasting Foundation is in my shop my stash for the month to remind me to use it again and I do love it. I do have to say my favourite foundation option is still the IT CC cream, but I’ve been enjoying mixing and matching that with this product. I apply it with a beauty sponge, it blends and applied easily and matches my skintone really nicely! I then use a tiny bit of the L’Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer. My skin is quite good right now, so I can’t see the point of suffocating it. But I use a tiny bit to cover up any patches of red that are on show! I finish the whole base off with the RCMA No Colour Powder. I LOVE this powder. It’s super light weight, doesn’t look too powdery on the skin and mattifies my face perfectly and gets it ready for bronzer application!

Skin Colour

Another shop my stash product in my Benefit Hoola Bronzer. I really don’t know why I haven’t been using this recently because it’s gorgeous! The colour suits me perfectly and it’s such an easy formula to blend. For blusher I’m actually using the Stila Perfect Me Perfect Hue palette. This is one of those products I absolutely love but always forget to talk about so I thought I would share with you now. It’s a really natural palette full of two stunning blushes, a colours setting powder (which is too dark for me, but the formula seems lovely) and a neutral eyeshadow quad which is neither too warm or too cool! Today I mixed together the two blushes together! And then for highlighter I’ve dug out my HUDA BEAUTY Winter Highlighter Palette. Gorgeous!

The Eyes

Because this is my everyday makeup, and let’s face it who wants to wear a bright eyeshadow while sitting at home on your tot? I mean maybe you do, and some days I do, but it’s not on the regular. So today I just used the quad in the Stila Perfect Me Perfect Hue palette. It creates a REALLY subtle barely there eyeshadow look, but it’s perfect for adding a bit of shadow to your eyes for zoom calls so it actually looks like you have eyes!I then use a complete classic – the Maybelline Lash Sensational. Do I need to say anything about it?

And then brows? I’m loving the Max Factor Brow Shaper. This is a super fine brow pencil that creates beautifully natural brows. It matches my brow shade perfectly and I love how it comes with a spoolie too!

Lips

And right to the end you can’t go wrong with a your lip but better shade! So it couldn’t be anything other than the Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Charmed. This is my second one of them already and it’s a really comfortable long lasting lipstick!

I promise you next time it will be bolder and more colourful and more editorial, but I really wanted to share with you the makeup I’ve actually been wearing!

Let me know if there’s anything you want to see!
