If I am completely honest, a lot of these empties were strictly speaking finished in 2017… however, as it’s 2018, I thought I would start off with my first empties of the year. Once you’ve completely used up a product you really are starting to gage whether you love something or not… so let me tell you my thoughts on these products.
Body Shop Mixed Berries Lip Balm
This was one of the nicest lip balms ever, with a thick texture and a gentle tint, this was great for those no-makeup-makeup days. Sadly, this is a limited edition Christmas scent, but when it’s back next year.. I am definitely back on that ship!
Soap and Glory Makeup Remover
With the nicest, subtle scent of cucumber (which is fast becoming one of my favourite scents), this is actually a lovely makeup remover, possibly one of the better I’ve tried, and it’s only £6.
No.7 Intensive Hand Cream
Normally I try hand creams and I feel very meh about it, however, this one was lovely. It was thick, mositurising and it worked super well. I have a lot of hand creams to go through, but when I’ve finished them, I will definitely look back at this one.

Maybelline Brow Satin
My favourite brow product of all time. I feel like I should stop talking about this brow pencil, but I literally use it every day.
Neal’s Yard Remedies Deliciously Ella Facial Wash
This was a lovely face wash, presented in lovely high quality packaging. At £17 a bottle it’s very expensive, but not ridiculous, and when my finances settle (I’m moving), I would definitely look back at it.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
One of the best powders out there in one of the worst packaging out there (it literally smashes when you’ve barely made a dent in it). But, then again, for £3.99… you really can’t complain.
Body Shop Vitamin E Face Cream
I’ve only tried a handful of the Body Shops facial skin care, and I have to say I’ve never been let down. Everything I’ve tried by them has been such good quality, and for a reasonable price. Like handcreams, I have a million and one face creams to get through, but I will definitely keep this in the back of my mind.
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation
This is a good foundation, and I like it… however, I do prefer the new Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation (even though the coverage is lighter), so I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Rose Gold
Batiste is definitely the best dry shampoo out there! I’ve tried a number in my years, and they always come out top. This is also my favourite scent – super sweet.

Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Moisturiser
I’ve never actually purchased one of these, I’ve always had them in beauty boxes. But you know what? I always get super excited when I see it. So, I will no doubt have another in the future!
Herbel Essences Uplifting Volume
For most of my life this was my signature scent, and it’s that shampoo and conditioner I ALWAYS gravitate back towards. It smells amazing, does great things for my hair, and I can always rely on it.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
I actually love this primer, it makes my skin feel super soft and smooth ready for foundation application.
Rimmel Lip Liner in Red Diva
This is actually the second of these I’ve finished, and also the only lip liner I’ve ever finished. I refuse to wear a red without a lip liner, and this is both a classic colour and a brilliant formula.
What products do you always use up and repurchase?

Do you find the Bastiste bottles run out faster now? Or am I crazy?
OMG yes, I thought it was just me… just using more dry shampoo 😛
I love the body shop lip balms – my favourite scent is the vineyard peach! 😉
oooh, I’ve never even seen that one. I’m one of those weird people who’s not sure if they like the taste of peach, but I love the scent! 😛
haha I loovveeee peaches x
I love the herbal essences shampoos and conditioners too . They just smell so great!
Peaceout with love!✌💙

I know! For scent, they’re definitely my favourite… which is probably a good thing, considering it’s Herbel Essences’ biggest selling point 😛
Well done!
haha thanks 🙂
