Lipsticks I've Worn This Week
Lipsticks I've Worn This Week

First week of the new year is nearly over and with it the first lipsticks of the year have been worn. I discovered some incredible lipsticks throughout the year, and I can’t wait to start wearing and discovering more lipsticks throughout the coming year.

Lipsticks I've Worn This Week

Stila Stay all Day Liquid Lipstick in Fiery

A stunning red to start the year. The morning of the first I wore it in with a bright red lip, and then continued to wear throughout the day.

Max Factor Honey Lacquer in Chocolate Nectar

My favourite liquid lip/gloss from 2017, and it will continue to be so into 2018. It’s an easy to wear nude. Perfect for my long journey back from Plymouth, where I spent New Years Eve.

MAC Lipstick in Faux

Last day of my holiday before I return to work on the 4th. So another nude, this time my other favourite from 2017. Mac lipstick in Faux.

Rimmel The One Matte Lipstick in 500 Take the Stage

I thought I would go back to work and make a statement. This time with a bright red wine colour, almost reflecting back to the festivities but looking forward to the new year (you can tell I studied Art at A level..). Plus, this formula is one of the best.

Swatches of the Lipsticks I've Worn This Week

Stila Colour Balm in Olivia

There is a review of this coming in the not so distant future, and so I thought I would give it one more wear just to be sure. This is a very balmy textured lipstick, feels super comfortable to wear, but with a very strong scent that can be a little overpowering.

Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Charmed

A deep nude, one of the classics, but definitely one of my favourites.

Perfect beginning to what I hope will be the perfect year!

    1. I’ve just discovered a new red lipstick from NYX (I’m in the process of writing a post about it) which is now my new favourite red lipstick! But I love a good red! ๐Ÿ˜€

      1. Yes! You’re so right! They always used to terrify me because I thought they’d end up all over your face or on your teeth… but lip liners are so underrated!
