I have a grand total of 4 Mac Lipsticks. Which, I know is more than some, but a lot less than most. However, I know I am happy with every shade, and use them more than every other lipstick ever…
Faux (Satin)
This was the first Mac lipstick I ever owned, and for that reason (and the fact it’s a great colour), I will always have a soft spot for it. As your classic pinky-mauvey nude, this is my go to for everyday, or when I have a glam eye and need to keep my lips a bit more toned down. It’s a satin finish, and so semi-matte, but super comfortable on the lips. I have to say, I think this is my favourite lipstick of all time.
Velvet Teddy (Matte)
Oh, what a classic. I tried to buy this lipstick on so many occasions, but it was always sold out. However, on a trip to Birmingham, I picked this up at the train station, and never looked back. It’s such a flattering brown-toned nude, and one of my go-tos. I mean, who hasn’t tried this lipstick?!
Hot Gossip (Cremesheen)
This is much more of a pink, with a hint of nude. It’s great for Spring and Summer where you want a be a little brighter, and have a touch more… well fun. It’s a cremesheen finish, and so slightly glossy, and super super balmy on the lips.
So Chaud (Matte)
I wanted a red, and I wanted it to be something a little less classic. This lipstick is red, with a hint of vibrant orange. In the middle of Summer, this is the most stunning shade ever. I tend to wear it with my Rimmel Lipliner in Diva Red, and it lasts forever, and looks stunning. Tad trying, because of the matte finish, but nothing I can’t get over.

Right now I think Syrup is my favorite nude. Russian Red is my favorite red 😊

I have 2. Vegas Volt and Hue.
I’ve always wanted to try Hue. I know people who absolutely love it! Never heard of Vegas Volt 🙂
Vegas volt is a deep coral. Really pretty. Hue is my go-to.
Love these colours!! If you like Velvet teddy, have a try of honey love!! I have that one and it’s so similar. My absolute fave’s are ruby woo and whirl – perfect for autumn!! X
