New | L’Oreal Paris Brilliant Signature High Shine Lip Ink

So we all know I’m a huge fan of the L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipsticks. They’re pigmented, easy to apply and super long lasting. So, when I waltz into Boots and see they’ve got a new range of lipsticks, in similar packaging, but this time advertised as a high shine finish, I knew we were on to a winner!

If you’ve seen or read earlier reviews or new product reviews of mine over the past years you’ll notice I only have one shade. It’s simple. I was wasting so much product by picking up a million and one different shades of things when I didn’t know if I loved it or not, but I wanted to do my bit to stop my wastage. And thats only picking up one or two shades in a new range, trying them out, and then if I love them I can pick up more.. just wanted to clarify that and all!

Unlike the other L’Oreal lipstick which has some stunning bright and out there shades in there, this range falls more within the ‘normal’ lipstick colours. With a beautiful selection of reds and pinks!

There are currently only 12 shades in the range from brown toned neutrals, to pinks, fuschias, a stunning orange and then the colour I have ‘Be Successful’ which is the first shade on the bottom row!

So the first thing to say about these shades is they have the same easy oval applicator as the other L’Oreal lipsticks in this packaging and a very similar scent! They apply in one swatch and the colour pay off is absolutely stunning!

But, what I truly love about these lipsticks is they are so shiny and glossy that they make it look like I’ve had a lip job! My lips look full and healthy and it’s such a beautiful, bright colour! I literally love how this looks on the lips! They don’t necessarily need a lipliner, but it really does help keeping the line crisp and clear as they are a very glossy formula and so can need a little bit of support for the edges!

I’ve been a matte lipstick person for so many months, but I think this has truly changed my opinion, this looks so stunning on the lips, I think I need to change my entire outlook!

So because they have a glossy finish, they transfer a lot! But it’s kind of what you’d expect. They also don’t last the longest time on the list, and can fade on the inside, leaving only the outside of the lipstick left in that weird dry looking outline!

However, I truly do love this lipstick! I’m going to be wearing it in my YouTube video this Sunday and you’ll see how healthy and full it makes my lips look! Like it’s truly beautiful!
