I’m usually someone to champion the drugstore, it’s cheaper and usually just as good, if not better! But, sometimes, paying a little more does actually give you a little more! I do have a handful of products that fall into the ‘high end’ category that I think are worth the extra pounds!
NARS Isolde Duo
I used to see Zoella rave about this all the time (I know, sad or what?) and I just wanted it! And, I have to say, the formula of these shadows is exceptional! They’re really beautiful shades!
I feel like these are just a classic, but have somewhat taken a back seat in recent years.. however, they’re still a firm favourite of mine, and are among my most worn lipstick formulas.
Molton Brown Shower Gel
Now, I do have to admit, I’ve never actually had a full size bottle of these. They’re excessively expensive, and I do like to save them for holidays to make the whole experience just that little more special. There’s something about Motlton Brown Shower Gels that just feels so much more luxurious!
Charlotte Tilbury Face in a Palette
I completely understand the blush in this is annoyingly small.. but for someone who very rarely wears blush, I really couldn’t care less. Everything else in this palette is incredible quality! I literally love it so much! It’s my go to travel item
Elizabeth Arden Lipsticks
They always put this in their gift sets, and they’re literally the best! I have a few of them and they’re remarkably similar to some of the mac lipsticks. Literally love them!
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
My go-to primer that just works. It is one of the only primers I’ve finished more than one of, and it works really well with my combination skin to help the application of makeup and helps it last so much longer on the skin.
Benefit Rollerlash Mascara
I know recent hype has been round the most recent Benefit mascara, but this one is still hands down my favourite. It gives good length, good volume, good curl, everything!
Illamasqua Precision Inc
This is one of those eyeliners that literally will not budge! Nothing moves ever! If I need my eyeliner to be super black and super waterproof I always go for this one!
Michael Kors Wonderlust
It’s no secret that I love the Michael Kors fragrances! Midnight Shimmer is one of the only fragrances I’ve ever finished and Wonderlust I legitimately lusted over for pretty much the entire time I worked at Superdrug. I think I pretty much finished their sample bottle in the store! This is a lovely sweet, but still somewhat fresh, scent that works really well with the natural balance of my skin!
What are your high end favs?
