Sometimes finding concealer in your shade can be nigh-on-impossible. While foundations come in 10+ shades, concealers tend to be more in the 3-5 shade range. However, L’Oreal have just gone an done it! Released their L’Oreal True Match concealer in 14 shades from the super pale to the super dark!
The colour range is shown below. I have 1N Ivory, and that’s a highlight shade for me… as in, I could probably do with going a shade darker – now that is rare, I don’t think I’ve gone for number 2 in a shade range of anything ever…

Now, I guess the thing that really matters in the formula. The concealer is lightweight, and so lighter coverage. I would say you could probably build it to medium, but there’s no way this is a heavy coverage concealer. It does a great job of brightening and evening, but it’s not going to cover anything extreme – which, to be honest, works for me for the everyday, and if I need something heavier, I’ll use my Collection Lasting Perfection.
The concealer looks and feels super natural, and it doesn’t crease particularly and lasts a fairly long time – however, you aren’t going to notice it fading like crazy, because the coverage isn’t massively there to begin with. It blends out super easy with a brush, fingers or sponge and doesn’t oxidise or react badly with my skin or any other product I’ve used with it.
The packaging is simple, the dofer applicator soft and easy to use.
If you’re looking for an everyday concealer with a bit of coverage to brighten under your eyes, or just cover the odd mark, this is a really lovely concealer… and the shade range! Impressive! And now we wait for a high coverage concealer from the drugstore to make the same step…
Have you tried this? If so, what are your thoughts?
