New In | No.7 Lift & Luminate Foundation

No.7 FoundationNo.7 Foundation 1

Nearly everything I’ve tried from No.7 has actually been pretty good, I feel like it’s a solidly good brand. One thing I’ve never delved into, however, is their foundations. No.7 have launched a brand new foundation; the Lift & Luminate Foundation Triple Action Serum Foundation. There are 14 shades, at Β£18 a bottle.

The packaging is actually really lovely, it’s a weighty frosted bottle with a black lid, and a black pump. And the overall box, which obviously you chuck in the bin, is simple and to the point – nothing more, nothing less. The shade I have is Calico, which is the lightest shade they do, and it matches me perfectly… and I’m not as pale as some.. plus, the shade range doesn’t go super dark either.

I used three pumps in total, with a beauty blender/equivalent, and it blends really well. The coverage is light to medium, and it doesn’t particularly build any higher. It looks really nice on the skin, however, if you like a lighter coverage and has a beautiful natural finish. The other products work really well with it. The lasting power is on the 6-8 hour mark, and so not really that impressive, but it does mostly fade as oppose to bunch anywhere, and it creased in my smile lines.. but nowhere else, which is odd.

Overall, a really nice foundation for those lighter days if you only want to wear foundation for the afternoon/the morning. But for Β£18 it’s not out of this world insane, however, if you’re into your lighter coverage, it’s a really nice foundation!

First Impressions:

Have you tried this? If so, what are your thoughts?
