As we all know, liquid lipsticks are taking over the world, also L’Oreal are launching an insane amount of products at the moment. And, within all their new launches are their new Lip Paints. Essentially they are liquid lipsticks, with a dofer applicator, but come in these charming tubes. There are two finishes; Lacquers (hi shine) and Matte. They are £6.99 each (a perfectly reasonable price) and come in some super stunning shades.

From Left to Right: Gone With the Nude, Hollywood Beige, Darling PInk

As I’m trying not to buy an excessive amount of lip products that I’m never going to wear, I picked up the three shades that I knew I would wear all the time! Their formula is super light and easy to wear, the pigment is pretty – neither stunningly pigmented, or wishy washy, just a nice pigment, and they last a good amount of time (nothing impressive, but you’re not left disappointed either. The three colours I have here are really pretty, and Hollywood Beige Darling Pink are going to be a great colours for the Spring and Summer months!

To be honest, I actually don’t see a huge difference between the Matte and a Lacquer shades… the matte shades, on me, don’t dry completely matte, and they look really similar on the lips. If anything, I found the Lacquer to be more pigmented, but this may have just been this specific shade.

I summary, some really lovely lip products, but nothing revolutionary. What are your thoughts?
