MUA are one of those brands we all love! They’re super affordable (their lipsticks are £1!), their products are actually really good – considering how cheap they are – and I feel like everyone has a space in their heart for their original highlighters. About a year ago, MUA launched their MUA Luxe range, with the intention that it would be their premium range. While I love the liquid lipsticks, I find the rest of the range a little meh… but this new addition! OMG!
It joins the rest of their MUA Luxe Collection in Superdrug as of today! So, get ready to get your hands on these!
They’re launching 3 new Highlighting products covering all the major hypes of today! The Highlighting Palette (at the cost of £6), the Cushion Highlighter (£4), the Highlighting Powder (£4), and all come with a gold undertone – or in some cases… just in gold.
The packaging is beautiful.. they all come in white packaging with gold detailing – except from the Highlighting Powder… which when you take it out the box it’s black… weird!
MUA Luxe Glow Beam Liquid Highlight Cushion
Cushion everything has taken over the World! Each brand is launching their own take on the ‘cushion’ – be it a Foundation, Blush, Bronzer… or Highlighter. Like every other cushion product, it comes with a little puffer, a cushion base and a little lid to keep them both apart. The product is a super shimmery gold! In fact, if you love a true gold highlight you will LOVE this (and the powder). It blends like a dream, feels beautiful on the skin and the formula is great! Not sure what I think about the true gold highlight, I’m more of a Champagne person… but it’s still awesome!
MUA Luxe Glow Beam Highlighting Powder Gold
This is a big pot filled with gold, shimmery powder. When you twist the lid, it brings the powder to the top! Which, is an amazing invention! I mean seriously, this stops the awkward tapping and manoeuvring of the pot you get with every other loose powder. Once again, this is a beautiful true gold! The powder reflects the light in such a stunning way! There is a fair amount of fall out when you apply it, but to be honest, do I care, no?!
MUA Luxe Radiant Illumination Highlighting Kit
This is the weirdest concept ever! It looks identical to a super pale contour kit with shimmer in it… like what is this for? The highlighting powder in the top left is actually really pretty, and I guess the other powders might work as a highlight for people with other skin tones – I just happen to be SUPER pale. The powders have a powdery feel to them, but actually blend really nicely… I’m just not sure if I entirely get these.
Are you excited for these?
