Review | Morphe Babe Faves Eve Brush Set

So I have always been a fan of Morphe eyeshadow brushes, I already have two from them and they’re gorgeous! On par (to me) with Zoeva and Real Techniques! And in the Black Friday sales I picked up on of their box sets; the Babe Faves set. Normally priced at £46 I got this bad boy for £27.60! So now I’ve been using them for over a month now, I thought it was about time I shared my thoughts…

Making them only £1.97 a brush… which is insane at the best of times… but for a really nice, soft quality brush with stunning black handles (which are weirdly a mix of matte and non-matte)… pft! Winning! But even at full price they’re only £3.21

Also, I totally took photos of them before I started using them so they were clean for you…

M167 Oval Shadow Brush (synthetic) – This is one of those great flat brushes you can use to apply shimmery shadows … or I used it when I do a smokey eye and want to put the base black shade down!

M124 Firm Shadow Brush (natural & synthetic) – This one fascinatingly has a mix of both natural and synthetic bristles. This is a longer, thinner flat brush to M167.

M421 Mini Concealer Brush (synthetic) – perfect for those super small things you need to conceal. You know that little pot concealer I’m trying to use up for project 10 pan? Oh hey accompanying brush…

E36 Detail Crease Brush (synthetic) – So this looks a lot like one of the paint brushes I used to use in A level art! haha! Great for applying foundation to your lower lash line.

M506 Tapered Mini Blender Brush (natural) – So, as basically a bigger version of the E36… I feel like to me this is that eyebrush you use when you want a really precise eyeshadow application that’s still blended…! Love it!

M330 Blending Crease Brush (natural) – I love these sort of tapered blending brushes, they’re really nice for getting something perfectly into your crease!

M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush (natural) – This is basically a massively fluffy flat brush.. which I LOVE to use to create a bright one shadow look! Or to apply that brighter shade all over your eye! Mine’s now constantly green because of my Charlie Betty Beauty palette!

M441 Pro Firm Blending Crease Brush (natural) – This, to me, is your classic crease blending brush! Like it’s so remarkably close to the Zoeva Luxe Crease Brush! And I feel like this is going to be my most used brush in my collection!

E22 Pointed Blender Brush (synthetic) – Another great blending brush, but just slightly more dense and pointed than the M441, I think this’ll be the second most used brush in the collection

M321 Bullet Crease Brush (natural) – Now this is the PERFECT lower lash line brush. Dense, but still able to blend, this just fits perfectly under there!

M213 Smudger Brush (natural) – omg this brush is so small… like teeny tiny! It’s like the smallest flat brush you’ll ever see! But do you know what this is perfect for? Apply a pencil black eyeliner, and smudge it out with this!

M217 Bent Liner Brush (synthetic) – This has a bend at the end of the handle and then a super fine brush! As someone who doesn’t really use lip brushes, not sure I’ll get the use out of this, but it’s handy to have around just incase,

E29 Angled Brow/Spoolie Brush (synthetic) – I actually don’t have a non pencil brow pencil, so haven’t been able to try this… but this would be perfect for travelling if you did!

M432 Flat Liner Definer Brush (synthetic) – Love using this super stiff brush to apply eyeshadow close to the lash line like you would an eyeliner!

And there you have it, 14 stunning brushes I use on the daily. What I really like about this set is I pretty much use every brush in this and there really aren’t many duds. So excited to have this as part of my collection!

Have you tried Morphe Eyeshadow Brushes?

  1. I never heard of Morphe Brushes, but this set seemed like a wonderful buy! I am not huge in makeup, so I don’t really shop much for it, but in case I will, I’ll give these a gof for sure! Thanks for sharing, Katie x

  2. This is such a great review and I love that you managed to pick them up for such a great price. I haven’t tried any Morphe brushes but so many people have recommended them to me.

  3. I’ve tried a few Morphe brushes from a gift set and I really liked them and think they work on par to my Zoeva brushes. They’re so inexpensive as well so I definitely want to get some more specific brushes.

  4. These are gorgeous brushes, seriously! I love Morphe brushes, but I’ve never owned a full set. You’ve convinced me that I need to upgrade my own brushes and get these.

  5. Great to know that you’re enjoying these! I’ve thought about buying these a million times before (you got a great deal) but I’ve never been madly in love with any of the Morphe brushes I’ve tried before so I haven’t committed to the big set. They sound like they’re worth it though, might be time to change my mind x

  6. Amazing post! I’m not that big of a makeup user, but I get excited over new products( who doesn’t haha). Maybe I’ll treat myself to these brushes. Also your review was great, I loved how you added your experience, and reviewed each brush. This way people who wanted to buy a smaller kit(like me lol), could see which ones they needed. Thanks for sharing this review!

  7. What a great set! You got a lot of variety with the brushes and it sounds like it was a really good deal too! 🙂

Hope that your week is going well 🙂 The rain has stopped and it’s been sunny and warm since our 3 day lockdown was lifted which is nice 🙂
