Don’t you just love it when a mascara tube is actually interesting enough to photograph! L’Oreal have launched another mascara to their ever expansive range. This time the Unlimited Mascara (at £10.99 a pop) and the idea is simple: a mascara where you can bend the handle to make it easier to apply to every lash!
Sounds great right?

I mean, essentially for me, the whole handle bending thing is a bit of a gimick. I find I don’t really have that much trouble applying mascara with a straight wand anyway, and actually because you’re so used to a straight wand, having a bent one I find is actually somewhat harder…
The wand is a plastic bristled super bendy want with a slightly tapered wand with the longer bristles at the base and then shorter bristles at the end. I quite enjoy the wand I have to say! The formula is super black and one a first application it’s quite a nice natural fluttery look. You can then build up, but it does get clumpier the more layers you build up. For me, I don’t really mind this, but I know it’s a pet peeve of some people.

This mascara does have quite a strong chemically scent. I don’t mind it too much because it doesn’t aggravate my eyes, but it’s something to keep an eye (ha! I’m funny) on.
Overall a good mascara, I feel like the packaging is a bit of a marketing thing and the price is quite high, however now I have it I will definitely keep sing it!
Have you tried this? If so, what did you think?
