Review | Collection Glam Crystals

It’s not often I wear glitter on my eye, but with all the festivities over the last month I feel like I have definitely had my fair share of glitter. And nothing does the job  better than the Collection Glam Crystals. Including 10 shades covering all the colours you would need at ยฃ2.99 they’re a real bargain and a classic in the makeup world. I have only 3 shades in my collection, but they cover me for most base. The one I would really love is Dancing Queen (a warm red).

The three shades I own are Hustle (4) (silver), Le Freak (5) (blue) and Funk (3) (gold).

When I was about 15 I would have used them for exactly what they’re called (‘gel liner’), as a liner. At that age I would have used a blue eyeliner and then over the top applied a blue glitter (I was very cool). Nowadays I use them all over the eye as a glitter top coat. They take a fair bit of layering to be the opaqueness you really require, but the benefit is that you don’t need a separate glitter glue, or the mess of dealing with loose glitter. Making them a preference for many people.

I have to say they’re not perfect, but they really do a bloody good attempt at being so.

Have you tried these? If so, what are your thoughts?

  1. Ah I used to love these! I think I had two back in the day but I used them so sparingly they dried out haha. Definitely need to invest in them again!!

      1. I think most superdrugs only do 4 shades, but I went on the Barry M website to see what they had to say about it, and there are loads of shades in really cool colours! ๐Ÿ™‚
