Makeup Empties

Empties

Hoarding empties is always a weird concept when you begin to do it, but I’m really in a good routine now. However, when I moved house, I couldn’t justify bringing all my rubbish home… so I just brought my makeup empties home, so I thought I would share me thoughts and opinions over on my blog rather than on YouTube!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation | I used to love this foundation, it’s not the longest lasting foundation, but it’s one of the lightest shades of foundation in the drugstore out there, and it looks really good on your skin. I love how it looks and feels on the skin, I just wish it was a longer lasting foundation.

Max Factor Finity All Day Flawless Foundation | Definitely one of my favs, and I have actually repurchased it already. This is a really good medium to full coverage foundation, it lasts really well, and doesn’t cake up. I love the primer from this range too, another one of my favourites.

Lottie Ready Set Go Powder | This is one of those products that worked, and I used it up, but I was left feeling a little meh. I mean, I know it’s only a powder, and they’re really not that exciting, but after using my Body Shop one, and loving that, it was a bit of a let down. So, while I guess it did the job, I won’t be repurchasing.

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer | One of my favourite concealers, of all time. This has good coverage, it’s brightening, hydrating, it doesn’t crease, it blends like a dream. I feel like it’s quite expensive for a drugstore concealer, but I’ve still had many besides.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (x2) | One of those raved about concealers of all time. Everyone and their mother has tried this concealer. Do I need to say more?

GOSH Clear Brow Gel (x2) | I’ve used this brow gel for a long time, and I use it basically every day. I already have 3 more backups I’m that addicted. It just works, plus I like the fact that it’s an opaque bottle, and do you don’t see that gloopy mess that brow gel becomes almost instantly.

Soap and Glory Supercat Liner (and Skinny) | Possibly the 100th one of these I’ve had (that is an exaggeration), but I really do love this eyeliner. I find the skinny one better, but I find a lot of Boots don’t actually stock it, which is really annoying. But I still love the original!

NYX Superskinny | I really liked this eyeliner, I thought it was black, easy to use, and long lasting, but it dried up really quickly. I really hadn’t had it that long before it became a weird grey colour.

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer | Another really good concealer, it just works. The only complaint I have, it that you seem to get through it really quickly.

Rimmel Colour Precise Eye Liner | Another good eyeliner, and one I have already repurchased. It just works, and it’s easy to use. But it dries up fairly quickly.

Maybelline Brow Satin | This is one of those brow products that, for me, just works. I’ve been using it religiously for over a year, and I have had at least 5 in that time. I only use the mechanical pencil side, but it matches really well, and I just love it!

Michael Kords Midnight Shimmer | The only fragrance I’ve ever completely used up, and I really do miss it already! It is one of the sweetest scents out there, but I love it! Plus, the bottle is super cute. The only problem I have with these fragrances, is they’re actually really expensive.

Revlon Colouristay Concealer | I really liked this concealer, it did the job, and while I did like it, I think there are other concealers out there that I prefer more (the Bourgeois, Collection and Rimmel to name a few), and so I’m not sure I’m going to be jumping at the chance to repurchase it

Hope you enjoyed!
