I feel like this is the blush people never stop talking about. And so, when I got one inside my Powder Drawer box/drawer thing I was so excited to try something new. This product is probably the most hyped blush of all time, and so my expectations were high. And so, I thought I would share with you today by real thoughts on the Nars Orgasm Blush.
The colour first appears unbelievably shimmery; it’s a beautiful pale pink with gold shimmer running through it. In the pan it looks sort of scary, like seriously, it’s WAY too shimmery. However, on the face it looks so much more subtle. The glitter is more of a sheen, which you only notice the glitter if you get way too close and personal with the person wearing it.
It’s crazy pigmented, it actually scared me a little when I first applied it on my face and looked like one of those porcelain dolls with the bright pink cheeks. However, it did blend out beautifully and it looks pretty on the cheeks.
The packaging is both gorgeous and the bane of my existence. It’s compact, sleek, and just looks luxurious. However, the rubbery surface is a serious dirt magnet, like a SERIOUS dirt magnet. This thing is impossible to keep clean.
Is this blush beautiful and looks nice on the skin? Yes. Is it worth the £29 price tag and the endless hypes online? Probably not.
Have you tried this blush? If so, what were your thoughts?
