I don’t think I’ve met a person in the world who doesn’t love Real Techniques (bet that’ll backfire), and Superdrug have a gift set that is truly stunning and at only £20 for 5 brushes(!!!) it’s exceptionally good value for money. The concept behind the collection is that they’re 5 of the best selling brushes in a design voted for by fans.
I think the packaging is cool and trendy, I have to say I prefer their original packaging, but it makes a nice change, and a beautiful gift set.
Containing the Stippling Brush, Base Shadow Brush, Contour Brush and Deluxe Crease, I feel like the only brush you’re really missing is the Powder Brush and then you’ve got yourself the perfect starter brush set…. or addition for those of us who already own more brushes than we could ever need.
Both the eyeshadow brushes are dense, but blend out eyeshadow beautifully, and I prefer these so much to the traditional flat eyeshadow brushes. The Contour Brush is perfect for concealer (as you can get into all those nooks and crannies), bronzer OR highlight. So it’s a great multi-use brush – just obviously you might want to clean it inbetween uses. The Buffing Brush was my foundation brush for many years (till I discovered makeup sponges). The only brush I’ve never used if the Stippling Brush.
Do you like Real Techniques? If so, would you want to give this a go?
