July & August 21 Empties | Skincare, Haircare & Makeup | Would I Repurchase?

I’m not going to make excuses for where I’ve been, so let’s just move on.

I’m coming back with a blog classic… a monthly empties post! So this is all the skincare, haircare and makeup products I’ve finished up over the last two months so that I can roll into September (yes, where has the year gone?!) with an empty empties box!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | At what point do you just assume this will be in my empties? I’ve used so many of these up in my life it’s kind of getting out of hand. I would 100% repurchase, and already have

Function of Beauty Shampoo | I’m about to finish the conditioner too, but I actually love these! They leave your hair looking and feeling super strong, fresh and soft and I’ve already bought my second go. While I think there are probably better shampoo and conditioners out there, I actually really like it.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Original Serum | Starting out on a high. This is another firm favourite, I’ve even included this on a few ‘top 5 products’ style posts and it just does wonders for my hair! Obsessed.

Florence by Mills Mind Glowing Peel Off Mask | Well, it can’t all be on a high. This is fine… it’s gentle and easy to use and doesn’t hurt when you take it off, but it is a lot of money for what it is, so probably wouldn’t repurchase.

Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless Foundation | Oh another favourite, I think I’ve used about 3 of these in my life. It’s such a great all-rounder foundation with medium buildable coverage, easy to blend, in the perfect shade for me… just love it!

Omorovicza Super Sin Saviour SOS Argent | One of the most luxurious skincare brands ever I absolutely LOVE this! Would 100% recommend if you don’t mind spending a little bit of extra money on things!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara | It can be a little bit clumpy, but it really is a great mascara. I have the full size and can’t wait to get it out!

Heimish All Clean Green Foam PH Balancing Facial Cleanser | So this isn’t actually empty… but I’ve had to get rid of it because I had an allergic reaction to it. There ya go

Ameliorate Resurfacing Facial Cleanser | Ok… obsessed! I feel like this made such a difference to the texture of my skin that I would 100% repurchase.

Simple Moisturising Bath Cream | A really lovely gentle bath cream. Doesn’t smell like much and wouldn’t say it’s the best thing I’ve ever tried but did enjoy it!

Biore Rose Quartz + Charcoal Pentle Pore Refining Scrub | One of those fact scrubs that leave your face feeling almost tingly clean. While I liked it, wouldn’t say it was 100% my favourite thing ever!

Dove Go Fresh Deodorant | Well it’s pretty boring, but here ya go

Maui Moisture Hair Care Shea Butter Hair Mask | I feel like this is slightly too heavy for my hair (which makes sense as this brand is mainly tailored to super curly or thick hair, but sometimes you just need that extra moisture. And it just smells stunning!

Sleek Matifying Primer | Considering I got this in my advent calendars last year, and I’ve just bought my 2021 advent calendar this week, it feels like the perfect time to get this out of my collection. Like it was ok, but I wouldn’t say I’d go out and get another one.

Barry M Lip Scrub in Mango| I kind of love these and would probably buy another one (in fact I think this is my third one already). Sometimes you just need a lip scrub and these ones are easy to use and taste lovely!

Calvin Klein Obsession Perfume | I got given this as a Christmas present. Totally wouldn’t be what I would choose myself as it does smell a little bit powdery, but it was a great at home, stuck in my house in lockdown fragrance!

This Works Deep Sleep Body Cocoon | I mean this smelt so strongly of lavender that it made the perfect pre-bred moisturiser. It was ok, but I don’t think I’d repurchase as there are ones out there I like more!

Glossybox Exfoliating Clay Scub | I kinda loved it! It was one of those products you can leave on as a face mask and then wash off to get those scrubbing benefits. Would 100% repurchase and it’s made me want to try more from the Glossybos Skincare line!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | I mean it’s a classic… do I need to say more.

Friends x Revolution Clear Complexion Salicylic Sheet Mask | I received this as the FriendsFest press night (which I do the marketing for). I’m never sure I’m 100% convinced sheet masks are worth it, but they are good fun and very relaxing

Clinique All About Eyes Rich | OMG I was obsessed. This had such a lovely texture and felt dreamy on my skin. Love love love.

Chloe Nomad Fragrance | This is a proper old school smelling fragrance, would probably recommend it if you like an old fashioned style scent

MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo | So… I put this through the wash… and it didn’t really last!
