This is a typical case of ‘bloggers made me buy it’. I’d seen so many people rave about this product I just wanted to get on the bandwagon! And here I am, many moons later, trying it out for myself. And, spoiler alert, I can see why everyone talks about it!
This is the description on the website;
Inspired by honey’s golden glow, we developed a primer that neutralizes the appearance of discoloration and redness. Our innovative light reflective gold flecks create a luminous look that will help keep your skin looking radiant all day
Essentially a primer to help reduce redness and leave your skin looking luminous and healthy.

I love this packaging, something about it is so fascinating and unique! You apply it with a paddle, and while it’s not exactly practical thing in the world, but something about it is kinda cool.
The texture is a little sticky and difficult to work with, but once it’s on your face, it blends out beautifully. I can’t say it balances out redness much, but it does leave your skin looking healthy and fresh. But the reason why I LOVE this primer is it’s super tacky. So much so, that you need a slightly easier foundation to work with that doesn’t dry too quickly (something like the Mac Studio Fix Fluid), otherwise it’ll stick and you won’t be able to blend it out.
BUT, if you can find a foundation that works with it, then it’ll really help prolong the wear of your foundation.

This hasn’t broken me out at all, and I’ve really enjoyed using it! At price point, it’s £15 a bottle… which is fairly pricy, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it wasn’t worth it!
Have you tried this primer? If so, what did you think?
