After you take a break off blogging it feels weird to come back to it. It’s almost like you’ve had a hand in a cast for months and now you’ve forgotten how to use it. I feel like when you come back from a hiatus you should do one of those ‘here’s where I’ve been’ posts… but to be honest, I have nothing much to say. So, I thought I would return the only way I know how; with an empties blog post!
Max Factor Face Finity Foundation £13.99 | This has always been one of my all time favourite foundations, and in reality it still is. Good coverage, long lasting, easy to apply, doesn’t look cakey. However, I’ve noticed they’ve repackaged it, so I don’t know if they’ve also reformulated, but I’m intrigued to find out…
Sure Pink Blush Anti-Perspirant £3.29 | I mean, boring. But works..
Mane & Tail Hoofmaker Hand & Nail Therapy £7.99 | Tbh I never let myself completely fall in love with this one, always thinking it was wildly expensive. But now I know the price of it… I would totally consider repurchasing. Does it compete with the Body Shop ones though…? not sure!
Pantene Superfood Shampoo & Conditioner £2.50 each | This is one of those products that works, and leaves my hair looking clean and healthy… but it ain’t no Herbel Essences.
MDM Flow Greater Than Mascara £24 | I don’t know what this brand is, and I don’t know where they came from, but this mascara is not work £24. It’s not dreadful, but it’s also in no way amazing. And so many other mascaras are cheaper.
Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Cream £3.49 | I actually really enjoy this eye cream, it’s light yet hydrating. However, I have been using it for years now and I’m feeling the need for something new.
Maybelline Brow Satin £6.99 | One of my top eyebrow products of all time. I’ve reviewed this countless times. Let’s move on
Superdrug Cleansing Facial Wipes 99p | While my cleansing wipes of choice are hands down the Simple Cleansing wipes, these ones are pretty good and the ones I go to when the Simple ones aren’t on offer..
Bourjois Healthy Balance Matte Powder £x | I used to love this! Compact, good mirror, good product. However, it seems like Bourjois has discontinued it and replaced it with the Healthy Mix powder. So I guess we shall see…
Revolution Pro Supreme Matte Finishing Spray £6 | I feel like it’s been such a long time since I have used finishing sprays on the daily. Despite there being 2 empties of them in this post, it’s because they were both basically at the end of their life span anyway. I don’t particularly have a favourite, but they’re handy if you’ve gone a bit ott on the powder front!
Polaar Nuit Polaire Revitalizing Cream £35.91 | Beautifully thick night cream. Worth the money? Not sure…
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara £8.99| Ah such a cult classic. Do you remember when EVERYONE used to rave about this thing? Well, it’s still a firm favourite of mine and one I will keep repurchasing over and over
Revlon Colorstay Creme Eyeshadow in 730 £6.99 | I actually really enjoyed this product, and while I got a fair amount of use out of it… it just dried up. For a cream shadow, it was easy to blend, didn’t crease dreadfully and looked really pretty on the eye!
Radox Uplifted Shower Gel £1 | I feel like, after the Body Shop shower gels, these are my go to. Cheap, cheerful and works!
BellaPierre Volumizing Mascara £19.99 | Possibly the worst mascara I’ve ever tried. Useless!
Mitchell and Peach Fine Radiance Face Oil £40 | So totally didn’t realise this was £40. While I enjoyed it, I think my skin didn’t so much (it always looked and felt a bit hot after) and so I don’t think I’d repurchase, even if it wasn’t for the price tag.
Benefit 24-Hr Brow Setter £22.50 | Great little brow product. Can you ever go wrong with Benefit?
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara £5.99 | While I this is a good mascara, and I have no real quarrels with it, it’s not Lash Sensational…
Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer £7.99| This used to be my complete go to under eye concealer. But then the older I got, the more I realised I don’t really suffer from under eye bags (and nothing that foundation on it’s own doesn’t cover up), and so it’s kind pointless me putting concealer under my eyes that will just crease anyway…
Max Factor Lasting Performance Setting Spray £8.99 | The other setting spray…
Colgate Total Toothpaste £2.50 | Toothpaste ey. Can you ever go wrong with Colgate?
DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom £38 | A great apple based fragrance that smells fresh yet sweet and lasts well. Would totally consider repurchasing!
Benefit BAD Girl BANG Mascara £22.50 | Benefit make my favourite mascaras, and while I would probably repurchase the Rollerlash, this is a great mascara if you’re all about volume volume volume!
Max Factor Brow Shaper £8.99 | My new found brow obsession. The pencil is really fine, making it amazing for fake brow hairs and the colour match is perfect. Only downside is you seem to go through them really quickly!
Revlon Candid Concealer £6.99 | I know I just said I don’t really use under eye concealer much anymore, but this one is a great one. It blends seamlessly with many of my foundations and doesn’t seem to crease too much. Plus, the coverage is great.
I always seem to surprise myself with just how many products I can finish in one month (or two in this case), but there ya go.. here’s to the next one!
What products have you finished recently you would repurchase?
