There’s something about Collection makeup that always makes me expect the worse. I’m not sure whether it’s the price point, the packaging, or the fact that this is a BB Cream and a stick concealer with a green circle in the middle… but boy was I wrong! When you consider that Collection makeup is aimed at both adults and teenagers alike, I think they’re got these products down to a T (spoiler)… just the packaging does make it seem like cheap kids makeup…
Both powered by Witch Hazel, they’re both made for spot prone skin… making them perfectly aimed at that teenage market! Or people like me… who, despite being 23, still regularly have breakouts like a teenage girl
The concealer costs £4.99, so just a little more than their classic Lasting Perfection Concealer, and the foundation/bb cream costs £5.99. The packaging for both is cheap and cheerful, and not really my style.
The BB Cream is a beautiful lightweight, light coverage ‘foundation’ that evens out the skin while still allowing freckles and your natural skin shine through. For some people this would be their worst nightmare, but for me, this foundation is absolutely gorgeous. It perfects, while still looking 100% natural and it wears and lasts really well. If you’re looking for coverage, this is definitely not the one, but if you’re looking for something to gently even out redness or discolouration, then you will LOVE IT!
The concealer is the same… it’s a lightweight, also light coverage concealer that looks super natural on the skin. The two products pair really well together for those good skin days or when you’re going for that no makeup makeup look. Both colours – BB3 and C3 are great colour matches for me, and I’m definitely going to keep using them
Classic case of don’t judge a book by it’s cover
Have you tried these yet? If so, what are your thoughts?
