So I decided to by a Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick Set… because… honestly… it came up as one of those adverts on Facebook and I have no self control! However, when you get 4 of this lipsticks for £22 (even if they’re mini) then I am all over that! Having only tried the Modern Renaissance palette from ABH, I was looking forward to try something more from them!
So the set contains 4 nude shades in a mini form (1.3g in comparison to their full size lipsticks which are £18 for 3.5g). The shades are all super pretty, and are all actually slightly different tones of nude (which I very much appreciate). The four nudes are:
- Spice – Rosy oak
- Kiss – Rosy petal pink
- Dead Roses – Rosy lilac
- Soft Pink – Blushing pink
The packaging of these lipsticks feel so luxurious, I love the mix of the black and metal and they have a fair amount of weight for them considering they’re so small! The formula is pigmented and long lasting, but quite drying (so you will need a good lip balm under these).

I feel like this gift set is the nicest way to try out 4 of the nude shades from this collection for a lot less money. And, lets face it, I have never finished a lipstick in my life, so I’m really not bothered by the miniature sizing! Plus, come on, they’re adorable!
I feel like this would make an amazing gift set for someone’s birthday (or yourself) and I am so happy I picked these up!
