Anyway, onto today! So these are 4 new lipstick shades to L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Lipstick Collection, named ‘Gold Obsessions’. They sell at £6.99 each (just like the rest of the range). Actually, to be honest their formula, packaging and overall feel is very similar to the original lipsticks.
There are 4 shades in this ‘Gold Obsessions’ range; Rouge Gold (a beautiful, ever so slightly glossy red), Nude Gold (a beautiful nude with a little shimmer), Pure Gold (yup, gold) and Plum Gold (a perfect plum nude for Winter). Excluding Pure Gold, these are beautiful and wearable colours, and while Pure Gold looks a little scary on it’s own (and not one I’d ever be able to pull of), it looks beautiful on top of the other colours of this range – either in an ombre fashion (in the middle of the lips) or all over.
Their packaging is beautiful, they come with the matte black, square packaging that their ‘Colour Riche Exclusive’ range come in, but with an ombre gold towards the bottom of the lipstick. They feel weighty, and expensive, and to be honest I love L’Oreal’s packaging!
The formula is not matte, these lipsticks have a sort of glossy finish. They’re pigmented (these swatches are only one or two swipes), they’re easy to apply, comfortable, fairly long lasting, and really fun colours. I’m loving the new shades to the range!
