I stopped doing favourites when I felt like it was forcing me to find something to talk about. I would be scouring through my makeup collection thinking what I should be talking about as opposed to what I want to talk about. So they felt forced and in all honesty, a little fake. In no means was I lying, those products were great and I would have loved them. But it did mean I might not have tried them enough to have really formulated an opinion.
However, saying all that, it feels like it’s been such a long time, and there are a few items in my collection that I have really been enjoying this last month. Partly helped by the fact that some of my makeup and skincare collection was packed away for 3 weeks while I was moving, but also because I’ve just really gotten into skincare and makeup again recently.
So here are my top 5 favourites from November!

Monday’s Child Skin Perfecting Oil
I was never much into facial oils… and then I tried this! I used to have quite blotchy skin, with rather red cheeks. But it’s like they’ve gone, and it’s all down to this oil! My current bottle is nearly finished and I’ve already ordered my next one! The brand is a small independent and relatively new brand, the team running it are absolutely adorable and I can’t wait to see what they do next in the skincare game!
The Body Shop Vitamin C Moisturiser
So we all know I’m a fan of the Body Shop. And then we all know I’m a fan of vitamin C in skincare. So this is pretty much the dream! It has such a lovely texture; feeling lightweight and non-greasy but still really hydrating! And the packaging is just so vivid! Love it!

Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Colour Ink Lipstick
I am such a fan of these lipsticks! They come in the most stunningly bright colours, lash really well on the lips and are really lightweight! And then they have a glossier formula too for those days you want a little bit of a glossy look! I have 4 of these in total but this hot pink colour is just delightful… and it’s these lipsticks that really got me into wearing bright colours!
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse
And while we’re talking long lasting liquid lips… none to it better than these! Like I have never worn a longer lasting lipstick in my entire life. And that is a claim! Plus, when it does eventually fade (on me, it does it around the 10-12 hour mark) it doesn’t dry or flake, its just faded and a tiny bit patchy so quite easy to just go over again! I’m pretty sure this colour I got as a free gift with purchase in November is actually not available any more, but Im’ 100% going to buy more!

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
This has been the most surprising hit of the last year for me! I also got this as a free gift with purchase and I really didn’t think I’d like it. I’ve never been much of a fan of a brush like this… HOWEVER it is stunning! If you like that natural, ‘my eyelashes just look like this’, fluttery long lashes you will LOVE this! It’s not clumpy at all! I’ve never known anything like it. Obsessed obsessed obsessed!
And there you have it! 5 items I have been obsessing over in November and beyond!
What have you been loving this month?

I need to get myself that Monday Child Oil now! It looks incredible and I have the same issues with my face so I hope it works with mine too! x
It’s such a nice face oil, I can’t wait to see what they come out with next! x
