Hey! Welcome back! You’ve probably noticed that I’ve kind of been missing for the past week, and that’s just because work got mega! But things have settled down again and so I’m back and I’m back in full swing! Today I’m sharing with you my thoughts on the NEW Revlon Sunlit Dream Palette.

At £10.99 a pop this is not the cheapest highlighter on the market, but the packaging is sturdy, the pan sizes are general and it comes with a good sized mirror. Plus, Revlon is just that slightly higher price point in the drugstore.

The palette contains 4 super natural highlighter shades: a white champagne, a golden champagne, a true champagne, and a bronzey-pink colour. Therefore there’s a colour in this palette to suit every skin tone! And I find, for mine, I can actually get away with mixing all 4 shades together. These pans also work really nicely as an inner corner highlight or all over the lid highlight!

So, these highlights are not particularly blinding (they can be built up, especially when mixed with a setting spray) and they are super natural. But, they do create that beautifully natural sheen on the skin because there’s not a lot of glitter in these pans. There is glitter, of course, but it’s so finely milled it’s almost undetectable on the skin! Therefore, this isn’t one to accentuate any texture on the skin. However, if you’re really into your super blinding highlighter, this can be a lot of work… so, I would say this is more for the girl who likes a slightly more natural highlight look that’s still definitely there! … if that makes sense.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this palette. For the everyday it’s become a favourite of mine and I am getting a lot of use out of it. I wouldn’t say it’s the best for travel, as the packaging is a little clunky, and I very rarely need 4 highlighters. However, as I don’t travel much, I would recommend this palette to those of you who want that more natural highlighted effect!

Have you tried this? If so, what are your thoughts?
