I’m not going to lie, I actually love black liquid liner, I feel like (along with mascara) it’s that item of makeup that can really just transform a makeup look! Now, I feel like I’ve tried a number in my years, and so I thought I would write my thoughts of them all for you here.
Soap and Glory Supercat | 100% my favourite, I feel like if I want an eyeliner, it’s the one I initially want to use. It’s super black, easy to apply, long lasting, it doesn’t dry out too fast, it’s just an all round great eyeliner!
B. Duo Liner | This is one I haven’t experimented with a heck of a lot. One thing I have to say, it I’m impressed with how black this eyeliner is, however it’s lasting power is not the most impressive, as it can rub throughout the day.
Bourjois Liner Feutre | Another eyeliner where I haven’t quite made up my mind, they dry up relatively fast, so I haven’t had the biggest opportunity to try it out. However, it’s a good option, it applies well, lasts fairly well, and it just generally good.
ELF Intense Ink Eyeliner | Another one of my favourites. Despite having a scary nib, it actually comes to a very fine tip and so it’s actually surprisingly easy to apply, in fact, it’s very easy to apply! Then it’s super black, long lasting, and I’ve already bought two now.
Maybelline Master Precise | A classic, I feel like everyone’s tried this eyeliner! It’s just easy to work with, wears really well, and it doesn’t dry up quickly.
Eyeko Skinny Liner | A really great eyeliner, the nib is super short and so it’s easier to create a bolder eyeliner look than it is to create a subtle feline flick. However, the formula is impressive.
GOSH Intense Eyeliner Pen | Urgh. I’ve had two of these, and where the nib is super long and thin it just dries up SOOO fast, and so you get like 1 or 2 uses out of it before it’s then so dried up it’s impossible to work with!
Model Co Dual Ended Eyeliner | Strangely, despite the fact this doesn’t come out jet black (more of a super dark grey), I so actually really like this eyeliner. I like the fact there’s a kohl end as well, and so it’s great to smudge out on the lower lash line to create a more dramatic look.
Illamasqua Precision Ink Eyeliner | If you’re looking for an eyeliner that is going nowhere, then you will love this! Once this is on your eyes, it is not going anywhere! Because it’s a pot with a brush kind of applicator, it takes a little longer to get to grips with, however, once you’ve mastered it, and it’s on your eyes, it ain’t going anywhere!
Rimmel Wonder Wing | I really couldn’t get on with this, while the formula was good, I found the weird stamp shape of the nib really difficult to work with.
What’s your favourite eyeliner?
