I have been head over heels with the Collection Glam Crystals recently, and to be honest pretty much everything in this makeup look has been a firm favourite of mine over the last month or more. So, I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you some of my favs, and also, I’ve put together a cheeky YouTube tutorial of this makeup look for you to enjoy!
Base is easy, it includes three favourites of mine I’ve been going back to over and over again and one new product that I have been completely loving! So I always start with the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, this has been one of my favourite primers for as long as I can remember and it really helps with foundation application. I go ontop with the No.7 Lift and Luminate Foundation, which has a lovely medium, buildable coverage, looks super natural on the skin and wears really well throughout the day. A new favourite, the Revolution Concealer. This does such a good job of concealing blemishes, under eye bags and all those other things you really just don’t want to see! And then set it down with the blogger favourite, the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
For the face colour products I’ve been sticking with the same three products everyday for weeks now (and the bronzer for over a year). I start by bronzing the face with Max Factor Creme Bronzer in Light Gold, and add a bit of colour with L’Oreal Life’s a Peach Blush and highlight with the L’Oreal True Match Highlighter.
For brows I have been obsessed recently with the NYX Precision Brow Pencil, it works so well with my natural hair colour and you can create that really nice feathered eyebrow look. I set it down with the Maybelline Brow Gel, which is fine, but the only clear brow gel I have at the moment.
For eyes I use the ABH Soft Glam Palette, hence the name of this blog post! This is one of my favourite palettes of the minute, it’s full of so many products I use on an everyday bases and you can create such pretty looks with this. I use a few of the matte shades into the crease to create a bit of definition (watch the tutorial), and then all the fun comes from the Collection Glam Crystals Liquid Eyeshadow in Divine. I apply this in the centre and inner part of the eyes and it looks so so pretty! I go in with a firm favourite mascara, the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, and then finish off the whole look with one of my favourite ever lip products: the Max Factor Honey Lacquer in Chocolate Nectar.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite makeup items of the moment! What are your favourites?
