Anything new from Collection immediately gets me very excited. However, I have to admit, I have never tried Collection eyeshadows, so I was equally intrigued with exceedingly high expectations. With quite a few colour options already, Collection have added a new palette to their range: the Matte Nude Rose Palette.
At £3.99 this is a super affordable palette with 6 stunningly beautiful and natural matte shades that look like they are really going to work together. Unlike a lot of palettes on the high street, the colours are actually different enough to warrant all of them, and they all seem to have their place.
The packaging is simple and cardboard, and while a mirror would be great, and I can see it getting wrecked pretty quickly.. I somehow still like it – no, I don’t really know why either. Just something about it appeals to me.
It creates a very natural, everyday eye look that gently accentuates your eyes. However, if you can’t tell from the swatches, the pigmentation is a bit meh. They can be built up, but it takes time and patience… which I really lack. And while the colours are gorgeous, they’re powdery, and I just really wish they had more omph to them.
It’s a shame because the colours are gorgeous!
Have you tried this? If so, what are your thoughts?
