A few weeks back I did an Instagram Picks My Makeup and I thought I would share with you the outcome and look I created with the makeup you lovely lot selected!
I decided to pit one of my project 10 pan products against a product in my collection I haven’t been able to give a lot of love in recent months! And, on the whole, you guys were trying to help me out by keeping me to my project 10 pan projects! Anywhoo… here’s the products you guys had to chose between, and if we’re yet to connect on Instagram, I’d love to see you over there!

Primer – NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer vs E.L.F Mineral Infused Face Primer
With 303 votes to 122, there was a clean winner! To be honest I haven’t tried the E.L.F Mineral Infused Primer for some time, but I’m really enjoying working my way through my NYX Honey Dew primer and I can’t wait to share my progress already at the end of March!

Foundation – Dior Face & Body Foundation vs Maybelline Superstay Active Wear Foundation
Another clean winner with 297 to 157. I’m actually really loving my Dior Face & Body Foundation… the shade is totally not right for me (despite the Dior girl ‘matching’ me to it! But when I finish this I really want to pick it up again!). I apply foundation with my Real Technique’s Complexion Sponge.
Concealer – L’Oreal 24 Hour Pomade Concealer vs L’Oreal Infaillible More Than Concealer
With 151 to 285 this is one of the first time’s you voted against my project 10 pan products. And to be fair, I think the L’Oreal Infaillible concealer is actually more of a favourite than the pomade concealer, so I really wasn’t complaining!
Powder – Soap & Glory One Heck of A Blot vs RCMA No Color Powder
With 235 vs 199, we have another clear winner! Realistically I think you guys just like seeing the pan on the S&G powder get bigger and bigger, and I’m included to agree! This RCMA powder has actually not been opened yet, as it’s my second bottle!
Bronzer – Smashbox Contour Kit vs Tarte Parkave Princess
The second, and last time, you voted against my project 10 pan with 137 to 306. To be fair, while I really like my Smashbox Contour Kit, the Tarte bronzer is actually really stunning!
Blush – NARS Orgasm vs L’Oreal Life’s A Peach Blush
Another clear winner for the project 10 pan; 316 vs 137. I spoke about this on my Instagram the other day, but this NARS blush is just never ending, and I’m not sure I’ll ever hit pan on it, but it’s such a flattering shade on my skintone, so I’m really not complaining!
Highlighter – Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow vs OFRA Rodeo Drive
I don’t actually have a highlighter in my project 10 pan, so I just chose two in my collection I haven’t used in a while. With 209 to 249 it was pretty close, but Rodeo Drive just won! While I love the formula of OFRA highlighters, I’m not sure this one entirely suits my skintone.
Eyeshadow Palette – HUDA Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette vs Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette
Once again voting for my project 10 pan with 270 to 185. One thing I’m LOVING about my project 10 pan is that it’s allowing me to try out the same eyeshadow palette but with new and different looks! I’ve started actually using some of those shades in here that never got any love and… well yeah, you can see what look I created today with it down below
Mascara – Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High vs Too Faced Better Than Sex
Another category I haven’t included in my project 10 pan… and this one was the most surprising as I thought you’d pick the new Maybelline Mascara… however Too Faced won as the score was 223 vs 233! Still a great mascara though, so not going to complain.
Lipstick – Mac Velvet Teddy vs Maybelline Lifter Gloss in Moon
I can’t believe 450 of you voted… but the result was a tie… 225 vs 225. So I did the only logical thing I could think of and applied my project 10 pan lipstick, and then used the Maybelline lip gloss over the top!
And this is the look I created…
