Foundations were one of the major parts of the makeup routine that I took the longest time to get into. I tried many foundations before I found some I agreed with. And now, a year later, I have 5 that I completely love for different reasons.
Bourjois Healthy Mix
Now this is the PERFECT summer foundation. A light, hydrating low-medium coverage foundation. It applies like a dream, feels super comfortable on the skin. I love this, along with many other people.
L’Oreal Infallible Sculpt
A higher coverage, heavier foundation. While I don’t understand what Contouring Base actually means, this creates an amazing base for other products. I feel like this is a great foundation to be… well a foundation. Products apply so flawlessly over this.
Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless
While the 3in1 claim on this foundation isn’t entirely true, this is still a beautiful foundation. It has high coverage, long wear time, and blends effortlessly into the skin. Plus, the colour range is awesome!
Bourjois City Radiance
When I want that lit from within look, this foundation is awesome. It also comes with extra SPF which is a bonus addition. It also comes with some great coverage, and blends really well. Plus, the packaging is beautiful!
Maybelline Dream Velvet Matte Foundation
This was the first matte foundation I ever used, and actually the first foundation I ever fell in love with. So, it holds a special place in my heart. It was a weird sort of mousse-like texture which makes it feel super light and hydrating (considering it’s a matte finish foundation).
