Who doesn’t love a good festive red lip at Christmas? So it seems fitting that my December ‘week in lipsticks’ is a whole host of reds! If you haven’t read one of these posts before, it’s me condensing all the lipsticks I’ve been wearing over the last month or so into one week. Sometimes they’re literally what I wore this week (as it was when I left the house everyday), but this year it’s been more what I’ve been wearing this month!
But either way, it’s sort of an adventure into my red lipstick collection.. so hope you enjoy!
NARS Velvet Glide in Burning Live
I’m 90% sure I got this in my advent calendars last year… but either way it’s a gorgeous little liquid lipstick! The colour is stunning and it’s super comfortable on my lips. Wouldn’t say it’s the one I chose if I want my lipstick not to budge, but gorgeous nonetheless
Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Disorderly
One of my favourite things about London is the random sample sales you find, and this I got from a Smashbox sample sale. And I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. A slightly deeper and more berry toned red, this is a stunning liquid lip!
Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Crushed Rubies
These are probably my favourite bullet lipsticks of the moment. And this red shade is just stunning!
L’Oreal Color Riche Shine in Insanesation
Probably the closest thing to a gloss you’ll ever see me in, these have a stunning high shine finish! It means they’re more pigmented and easier to wear than a gloss… but they certainly do transfer and they do run a little… so it’s one to wear when you’re able to keep an eye on it
Rimmel Lasting Finish Extreme Lipstick in Thirsty Bae
This is totally what I think of when I think of a classic red lip… it’s just so pretty! And these Rimmel lipsticks are so darn comfortable!
Sleek Matte Me Metallic in Electroplated Nude
This is probably that lipstick in here I don’t love! Like the formula is fine, but it’s not the most flattering shade and it does feel a little gritty on the lips… but I’m certainly glad I tried it!
L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Lipstick I Am Worth
And then I couldn’t not finish it off with my favourite lipstick. This is such a gorgeous red, pigmented, easy to apply and unbelievably long lasting without drying or going crusty! I have a number of these lipsticks and I’m genuinely obsessed!

These are lovely festive red lipsticks, I have the Loreal liquid lipstick, its great, I need to try the nars lipsticks.
