Haircare Products I’m Loving

I feel like I don’t often talk about haircare over here on my blog. Unless I’m raving about Herbel Essences, or I’m slightly concerned just how much of it has ended up in an empties post! But I felt like I’ve recently found some products I just can’t live without and that my hair is just loving and I felt I needed to share them with you!

Some of them are new loves, some firm old favourites, but all of them loved equally!

Wet Brush … Brush

These are literally the best brush in the biz. They’re really good at brushing out wet hair and they don’t tug on my hair. The patterns are cute (I have this mottled purple one, a bright pink one and a black one – yes, one for literally every zone in my life!) and the price is reasonable (though obviously more than your proper budget brushes).

Maui Moisture Hair Care Revive & Hydrate Shear Butter Shampoo and Conditioner

Yes. That title is a bit of a mouthful. But this product is amazing! The brand as a whole is geared towards girls with thick curly hair. Naturally my hair is thick and frizzy, but mainly straight. But it hasn’t made any different. My hair loves this product. It feels and looks healthy, has a stunning natural shine and it smells delicious! Shea Butter is such a great ingredient and I actually love the packaging!

L’Oreal Stylista The Beach Wave Mist

If any of you haven’t tried a salt spray you really should! They give your hair a little grit and texture when it’s just been washed and it helps give waves that just out the sea look. They’re all fairly good, but this one is really nice! It’s not too intense or not enough, the packaging is actually really nice and it’s at a good price point. I haven’t been curling my hair much since lockdown began (lot of effort for not a lot of people you know), but when I get back to it I’ll be using this product again!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Original Serum

I think this is my find of the last century (still sounds weird saying that). I naturally have slightly frizzy hair and this really does control it! It helps your hair look glossy and easy to manage and it goes a long way! I really do notice when I don’t use this and I don’t think I could ever go back on it now!

Alice Bands

These became such a thing at the tail end of last year and I have to say I’m such on that bandwagon! They’re an easy way to spice up an outfit and Primark do some great ones for really affordable prices!

And that’s it! I’m a relatively hair fuss free kind of person, and these are the products I’m currently using and LOVING!

  1. Hair bands are also excellent for covering up the majority of my greasy roots if I’ve left it too long to wash my hair and dry shampoo isn’t cutting it any more hahaha!

    1. Hahaha! I have to say I always have a shower and wash my hair after I run (which i do 3 times a week), so I’m keeping up! But yes! Love a hairband for covering up what you can’t fix! haha! x

    1. Oh they’re amazing! I don’t even know what happened to my tangle teaser because I’m obsessed with Wet Brushes. And yeah, I was never sure about head bands, but get one from Primark or somewhere cheap and try them! I bet you find they suit you more than you thought! x
