Top 10 of 2019 1

Well it was a good start to 2019… I ended up getting the worse case of the flu and dying in bed. So, this is a little later than expected, but here it is nonetheless. My top 10 makeup favourites of the last 12 months! The products that I couldn’t stop using, and the things that I almost couldn’t live without.

L’Oréal Paris Infallible Prepping Essence £9.99 | There’s something about this primer. Although it doesn’t do anything mind blowing in the whole makeup prolonging side of things, it is one of the most hydrating things out there. It just left your skin feeling and looking fresh as a daisy! Urgh, love it!

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream £31 | This really is one of the most exceptional base products out there. It’s beyond lightweight and skinlike, but gives fairly good coverage and does what I need my foundation to do; even out the redness in my skin. It even lasts forever!

Max Factor Creme Bronzer in Light Gold £9.99 | This is the only bronzer I’ve ever finished and repurchased and it really is the most beautiful, natural, everyday bronzer out there!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara £8.99 | I feel like this rose to fame years ago when Zoella used to ship it. And I think it was probably the first mascara I ever tried and it’s held my heart ever since. I also completely love the Benefit mascaras, but you just can’t beat the price of this…!

Maybelline Brow Satin Brow Pencil £6.99 | This is another one of those products I’ve been using for years and never looked back. And while I also completely love the Benefit brow products, there is just something about only paying £7 for it!

H&M Individual Eyeshadows (discontinued) | Probably should have looked into this before I wrote about it. But this H&M eyeshadow is beautiful!

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette £49 | Initially, you think ‘omg £49, what the hell’. But then you think there’s a bronzer, highlighter, blush and eyeshadow trio, you realise there’s actually a good deal here. Every formula here is gorgeous and it becomes the perfect palette to travel with!

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette £18 | I’m pretty sure this was the first ‘high end’ product I ever purchased, and there’s something about your first right? It’s also the first eyeshadow I hit pan on and it’s one of a few palettes I use on rotation..

Makeup 19 2

ABH Soft Glam Palette £46 | I remember being OBSESSED with the Modern Renaissance Palette, and then ABH released their Soft Glam palette and it was like it’s predecessor was never released. This palette is perfection! The shimmers are next level out of this world!

Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette £25 | And the last of the super warm toned nude palettes- are you sensing a theme here? With 8 stunning matte shades, including the most stunning purple and a stunning, shimmery gold, it really is the perfect little palette.

And there you go. All the warm toned nudes a girl could possibly need and a few base products! Stunning!

What were your favourites from 2019? And here’s to starting to feel human again!

  1. I’d love to try that Max Factor bronzer! I’ve tried Lash Sensational mascara once but I’d like to again at some point, I feel not many people talk about it as much anymore. I recently bought a deluxe sample of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream which I’m excited to test out!
