Cult Classic Makeup Wishlist

Cult Classic Makeup Wishlist 1

You know those classic products that everyone has and everyone LOVES, but because the beauty industry just moves SO fast, people almost forget about their existence. And when you have finite resources to purchase new makeup with, you feel like it should be… well new!

But I wanted to take some time to shed some light on those products that people have loves for years which I still want, even after all this time!

cult classic 1

Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection £39.00 | I mean I want the Chocolate Bar palette too, but if I listed every palette in the world I’d want… it would go over like 5 blog posts! It would be insane. Not the point. Anyhow, I’ve wanted this palette for ages and I mean look at it, it’s gorgeous!

Too Faced Melted Matte £19.00 | I would literally take any one of them, but the berry and red shades in these really call to me. Also, the packaging is stunning!

Jouer Cosmetics Essential High Coverage Liquid Concealer £17.00 | I’m in such a concealer rut that I will pretty much try anything! I’ve heard some pretty exceptional things about this concealer over the years…

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara £19.00 | I’ve never quite understood why makeup brands name products so provocatively! But, this is supposed to be a classic, and I really want to try it!

cult classic 2

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder £42.00 | I have never, and probably will never, own something from this brand. Because, I really just cannot warrant spending £42 on a powder, but it really does look gorgeous!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation £32.00 | A luxurious, high end foundation that supposedly has a beautiful skin like finish. Plus, I mean, the bottle is beautiful!

Becca First Light Priming Filter £15.00 | Gorgeous! I’ve heard so many good things about this primer, that I know I really just want to try it!

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise £22.00 | Effectively an over priced version of the Maybelline Color Tattoos, but I don’t even care. I really want one and that copper shade looks stunning!

cult classic 3

Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette £56.00 | So there is no denying this is a wildly over-priced palette! But it’s also completely gorgeous and I would literally LOVE to have it!

Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer £24.00 | You remember that concealer rut I said I was in? Yeah, this is one of the many many concealers I wish I could try in order to help me get out of such rut!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer £24.00 | So this is meant to be one of the best concealers out there! The packaging is simple and elegant and it’s just a classic right?

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder £30.00 | I have become so into loose setting powders recently! I’ve almost completely abandoned the pressed powder life! And so now, more than ever, I really really want to try this setting powder!

cult classic 4

Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation £35.00 | I think it’s Zoella who normally raves about this foundation… and I know I’ve actually bought a lot off of her recommendations and really loved them! So, maybe we’ll add another one to the list!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Eye Shadow Palette £46.00 | So I already own two from ABH, but I feel like this is the first palette they’re launched since the Soft Glam palette that I’ve actually wanted. They’re bright pops of colour but still somewhat wearable, and I know I LOVE the formula, so!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation £29.00 | To go with the matching concealer I really want to try… also, this is so many people’s favourites… I need to try it right?

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ £31.00 | So this is less of a first purchase, more of a ‘I’ve tried this already, loved it, nearly finished it and actually really just want it in the right shade’!

Morphe 35G Bronze Goals Artistry Palette £24.00 | I’ve never loved a Morphe palette as much as I love my Jacqueline Hill Palette, and I’ve tried a few of them and just passed them on. But this one looks GORGEOUS! I love the mix of warm neutrals, forest colours and that teal blue! Stunning!

What’s on your cult classic wishlist?

  1. Great post! I’ve tried a few of the products you listed and I highly recommend you try the HudaBeauty paletter and the Nars foundation xx

I will definitely follow for future posts!

  2. L’oreal Lash Paradise/Paradise Extatic is supposed to be a really good for Too Faced’s Better Than Sex. I haven’t tried the Too Faced to compare but the L’oreal one is amazing! I’d be curious to try that Becca Priming Filter one day too 🙂 x

  3. The Hourglass Ambient lighting is expensive but honestly it’s a game changer! It’s a subtle effect but a must have for me. I don’t use it daily but always for when I need a little extra than the day to day like a small night out or above.

  4. Huda beaty palette, natasha danona palette, want to try nars and charlotte tilbury, but cuz of the price range i am happy with my beauty bay palettes 👍🤗💚

  5. I agree with you on your thoughts about the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. I would truly LOVE to get it but it’s just soo expensive 🙁
My classic is the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation!
