New L’Oreal More Than Concealer | Shape Tape Dupe?

I mean, I think I’m the only person in the world who HASN’T tried the Shape Tape concealer, so I’m not sure I’m in a place to comment. HOWEVER, I do know it’s an exceptionally high quality, long lasting, wonderful concealer that so many people have on their ride of dies, that it does just have to be exceptional.

And this is not a review of the Shape Tape (mainly because I don’t actually have it, so how could I review it, but also), because this is a review of L’Oreal’s new Infaillable More Than Concealer. One of those products that silently came up on us, no one really saw it coming, but now it’s out, people are slowly but surely falling in love with it!

At £9.99, it’s at the higher end of the drugstore, but so is L’Oreal as a whole a lot of the time. But, one thing it is higher in that most of its competitors, is shades. I have shade 322 Ivory (the third lightest shade – yes, I’m not the lightest, what is this?!) in a total of 25 shades, ranging from the very very pale all the way into the really deep! If concealers were rated on shades alone (which I don’t feel like they are as much as foundations), this comes out near the top!

Putting shades and price aside… this is a great concealer. Bit of a spoiler, but the spoiler is in the fact I’ve compared this to the ever favourite Shape Tape concealer. It’s super high coverage, blends like a dream, doesn’t look too heavy, has a semi-matte finish (but isn’t too drying), I find it doesn’t settle into any creases, it has a beautiful doe foot applicator which isn’t too big or too small … * breath *, and the list goes on!

I would say be sensitive with how much of this stuff you put under your eyes (as a little bit goes a looong way), but the thing I’m super impressed with this for is spot concealing… its coverage is similar to that of a pot concealer and it doesn’t blend away to nothing!

The only thing I can’t really comment on is its ability to contour. As someone who rarely contours, and even less regularly cream contours, I really can’t see myself buying this in a darker shade.

Also, can we just take a minute to admire the packaging. I am in love with the geometric lid packaging!
