New | Revolution Supreme Gloss Pigment

I remember when Revolution was that slightly naff brand in the corner of Superdrug that no one had ever really heard of and we all avoided because it was a bit… well shit. Look how far they’ve come. Now stocking so many of the drugstore’s best makeup, getting some of the best influencers on board, releasing huge shade ranges and generally kicking ass!

Then they launched their Revolution Pro. Just that tiny bit more expensive, but with nicer packaging and arguably better products (I would say their Revolution line is pretty good on it’s own).

So I picked up one of the (relatively new) Revolution Pro Supreme Gloss Lip Pigment. Available in 20 shades from nudes, to oranges, to pinks, to reds, this range has every colour you could ever need (par blue.. not that you really need a blue). I have the colour Intent and it’s a beautiful pink-mauvey-nude!

They’re only £4 a pop and the liquid lip packaging is gorgeous! A rectangular tube with the lipstick internally with a white top. Stunning!

This is one of those liquid lips that’s somewhere between a liquid lipstick and a liquid lip gloss. It’s a pigmented, super glossy lip option that looks like glass on the lips but also isn’t uber sticky. It’s fairly long lasting, not kiss proof and wears really nicely. And is also super hydrating. I can’t speak for the darker shades, but the nudes apply like a dream!

The other shades are: Atomic (muted terracotta), Beholden (deep pink nude), Eternal (rich plum), Hysteria (hot pink), Ignition (warm poppy red), Mantra (cool nude taupe), Misfortune (cool burgundy), Poser (warm deep nude), Proclaimed (mid brown nude), Profound (warm brown), Reckless (soft pink nude), Revoked (mid pink nude), Sincere (warm terracotta), Superior (warm violet), Turmoil (deep purple), Turnabout (warm light nude), Ultimatum (cool burgundy) and Vigilant (soft coral).

Overall, I totally LOVE this and I’d love to try more of the range.
