Highlight | Makeup Declutter 18/19

Highlighters Before

Highlighter. THE thing that took the world my storm in the last few years (taking over from the liquid lipstick). When I first started out with makeup (which actually wasn’t really that long ago) the only highlighter out there really was the Sleek palette. However, since then, it seems like every brand and their mother has come out with a palette!

DECLUTTERED

Barry M Baked Highlighter | There’s nothing wrong so much with this, just it’s more glitter than anything else, and I don’t really like those kind of highlighters

Collection Gorgeous Glow Highlighter | I found this highlighter kind of just stuck where you first put it and then it wouldn’t move… it just clung there, looking all weird and non blended. Literally hated this!

Maybelline Master Holographic Liquid Highlighter | Now this product is GORGEOUS! But I just don’t use liquid highlighter, and so I feel like it’s just about time I get rid of this

Highlighters Before 1

L’Oreal True Match Liquid Highlighter | Another beautiful liquid highlighter, however I’ve barely used this and I’ve had it forever, so it’s about time to chuck this in the bin…

Max Factor Miracle Glow Duo | This product should not be allowed to exist. Simple

Bourjois Le Petit Strober | This is actually a pretty good highlighter, but I just have so many highlighters like this I prefer, I thought it was time to pass this on

Collection Gorgeous Glow Holographic Powder | Similar to the other Collection Gorgeous Glow Highlighter, this clings… to one patch… and then doesn’t budge

Revolution Ultra Strobing Balm | This is one of those cheap products Revolution put in things to make the gifts look more impressive… but realistically no one ever wants…

KEEPING

New Look Glow Baked Highlighter | With all the highlighters I had, I kind of forgot about this one, however it really is a gorgeous highlighter! And pretty much the only thing from New Look makeup that was any good

Soap & Glory Glow All Out Highlighter | This is one of those pink toned highlighters that look really really good as a blush topper!

Rosie for Autograph Loose Highlighter in Rose Bud | I actually love this highlighter, and no not just for the packaging (which is gorgeous) but the product itself is really pretty

Highlighter After

L’Oreal True Match Highlighter in Icy Glow | A truly gorgeous highlighter, this is just perfect for my complexion and is easily my most used highlighter. There was no way I was getting rid of this

Natural Collection Highlighter in Rose Glow | Pretty sure they’ve repackaged this since they came out, however this highlighter is truly gorgeous! Especially considering it was only £1.99!

Doucce Highlighter | This is probably one of my favourite finds from the beauty boxes over the last year. It’s a stunning highlighter and I really do love it!

Highlighter After 1

Winky Luxe Strobing Balm Radiant Pink | This is bordering on too dark for me, however it really is stunning! I love using this as an eyeshadow, or an inner corner highlighter

Laura Geller Gilded Honey Highlighter | Another product probably way too dark for me,  however this is such a cult classic I kind of just want to hold on to it for a while…

What’s your favourite highlighter? Or what do you think I’m missing?

  1. I love that L’Oreal True Match highlighter, I’ve been using that daily, alongside my Topshop SunBeam highlighter (not sure if it’s still available, but it’s gorgeous).

I’ve just found your declutter posts (and your blog!) and I’m loving them.

  2. I really love the Urban Decay Highlighter in Sin, it was pretty much my first and it’s still pretty fantastic. I’ve also been using a Nars eyeshadow recently that is stunning.
