It’s no secret round here, I’m really not a fan of Collection’s foundations, ever the brand does have a few gems in it, so I feel the need to try them every time they launch, just incase! They’ve extended the Lasting Perfection range with a new Weightless foundation. Priced at £3.99 this is probably one of the most affordable foundations out there.
However, the shade range sucks. Like not a little bit. A lot! There are only 6 shades and 5 of them are pretty similar.
On first application, this is a really beautiful foundation. It has medium coverage, a demi-matte finish, it covers everything beautifully and on first impressions this really is a wonderful foundation
However, the good news ends there. It separates on the skin within hours and it takes everything with it – foundation, highlighter and everything… it doesn’t necessarily look bad… it just doesn’t look at all. With a 16 hour wear claim, on my skin, it really just doesn’t get anywhere near there. I would say I get about 2 hours out of this. Which is pretty much rubbish
So, with the terrible shade range and the terrible wear time, I have to say I really don’t recommend this. I would recommend spending another £3-4 and buying another foundation from the drugstore!

I’m not one for foundations myself; I love a good CC cream, and I’m totally willing to spend a bit more on one as I can’t beat how much better my skin will look & feel! What a bummer that this didn’t work out :/

I’m LOVING the IT CC Cream atm! And I know, such a shame, Collection’s BB cream is pretty good though
That’s actually my fav! I bought it last year, & I’ve never gone back to anything else, although I am looking into trying other high end CC creams soon!
I’ll definitely be giving this one a miss from the sounds of it! The shade range is terrible too, 6 shades is barely any xx
