I didn’t even realise Maybelline did an advent calendar! And I have to say when I found out I freaked! Maybelline is probably, hands down, my favourite drugstore makeup brand. Excluding eyeshadow, they pretty much get everything down to a T! As I have every single item in this calendar, I didn’t want to purchase it, but I couldn’t not talk about it!
Worth £75.38, this calendar is £49.99 and contains 12 countdown windows to Christmas. While the savings aren’t out of this world (it’s pretty much like getting your standard 3 for 2 on the brand in Superdrug or Boots), every product is full size and it’s a great way to try out stuff from the brand without having to pick and chose!
Color Sensational Lipstick in Clay Crush | Maybelline’s lipsticks are so pigmented and comfortable, and this is your classic perfect nude!
Color Sensational Lipstick in Divine Wine | This time we have a lipstick in a deep burgundy/wine colour
3D Plumping Top Coat Nail Varnish | Another thing Maybelline do so well… Nail Polishes! I’ve actually never had this specific top coat, but I’ve never been disappointed by anything from the range!
Superstay Nail Varnish in Deep Red | Such a classic Christmas colour!
Color Tattoo Shadow in Creme de Nude | There’s a reason these are a cult classic! They’re pigmented, long lasting and come in amazing colours! This one works really well as a primer/concealer base
Color Tattoo Shadow in On and On Bronze | Then this one is the beautiful shimmery gold which is just PERFECT for this time of year.. I need to crack this back out
Master Strobing Liquid (Light) | I really really love this stuff… never remember to use it, but if you want a blinding highlight, then this is great!
Baby Lips in Hydrate | Your standard, classic, fail safe lip balm!
Baby Lips in Cherry Me | The same classic formula but with a gorgeous cherry tint! I have one of these in a pink colour, and it’s my go to!
Master Precise Skinny Liner | A gel formula black eyeliner, I’ve really fallen out of love with the whole black liner look, but it’s always a classic!
Lash Sensational Mascara | This is hands down the most iconic mascara ever! It’s my go to for an all over lash look!
Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser | If you’re a fan of the Benefit POREfessional, you need to try this!
